I needed to replace the tires on my car, and I often drive by Ingold Tire, so I decided to check them out. I called and got a quote, and then compared prices through a couple chains in the area. Initially, it looked like the chains with their price-matching were the better deal, but I decided to support a local business and committed to Ingold instead. By far, the customer service at Ingold is worth it. Once I arrived to drop off my car, they went out of their way to find a discount/rebate for me (which ended up beating all the other quotes) and were incredibly friendly and kind. Shortly after I left, they even gave me a follow-up call because I had left my travel coffee mug behind. When I picked it up a couple days later, they remembered me and asked some questions to see how the new tires were working out. I dont think I couldve had a much better experience. I will definitely be back.

I have been going to Ingold for about 13 years. I started at several other repair shops, but when my old Bonneville developed a disturbing tendency to stop suddenly everyone just wanted to do a parts swap out. I got an average of parts costs of about $1200 and no guarantee it would be fixed. I went to Ingold and they said they would have to search it out. They did. The part was $65 and it worked like a top from there on. They continue in this way even today. You dont get a frilly service, though they can give you a ride to places not too far from the shop. They just make your car work reliably for a reasonable price. Oh, and you dont end up coming back time after time to get the car fixed!

I cant say enough about Bart and Ingold Tire! I live in Texas and my son goes to school at Duke...we struggled finding a car repair shop that we could trust in diagnosing the problem when we were so far away. Ingold was so ethical, friendly and trustworthy...they could have charged us a lot more since our car issue was rather tricky...but after a couple days in their shop and a lot of troubleshooting, they only charged us $75...I was so thankful to find a car repair place that we could totally rely on...they even worked around my sons school schedule and offered to drive him back to school...Best company Ive come across in a long time!!

I have been going to Ingold for five years now. They are the epitome of why small business is so important - they know their customers, and because their customers are people and not JUST income they avoid the pushiness of other car shops that try to sell you what you dont need or fix things that arent broken. They do very good work - no half-fixes - once again, return customers are based not on their brand name but on the experience of quality service. You get what you pay for. Really great people, you can tell the people who work there are treated well.

Ive gone three times for everything from state inspections, to tire rotations, to buying tires. Each time I question why I bother. The most recent visit they damaged my wheels while rotating my tires which two days later led to a blowout. They claimed the wheels were "bent beyond repair" though Sears had no problem properly fitting tires on them even after Ingolds had damaged them. The front desk service has been rude every time and they didnt bother calling me to keep me updated on the work they were doing or when it was completed.

I go to Ingold for all my car repairs. Rod is honest and upfront about what they need to do and isnt pushy. They complete the work in a timely manner. When I had to get two tires replaced, I called around and they by far had the best prices and dont charge for some of the other related work (like mounting and alignment) that other shops charge for. You can get an oil change at a cheaper place -- especially with all the coupons floating around. But when it comes to actually getting work done, I dont go anywhere else.

Extremely pleased with the service at Ingold! After the Honda dealership wanted us to pay $400 for a repair, we brought our van to Ingold because we didnt trust that assessment. Ingold fixed it for the price of an oil change. They were very honest, had great customer service and a convenient shuttle. As someone who knows little about cars, I always worry that I am being ripped off. Now I know I dont have to worry about that with Ingold.

Theres great service here. They go above and beyond. Once a minor mistake led to costly damage to my car and they stepped up and made it right. There was no squirrelling around, I just explained the situation and they fixed it. I go here every time I need a car repair or an oil change because I know they have integrity and wont take me for a ride just because I dont know much about cars. Its a great shop.

I had a great experience at Ingold. I feel good about the price we paid for our 4 new tires, and when I remembered my broken tail light, they replaced that quickly for free. Our tires came with a rebate, and they filled out the paperwork and handed it to me in a stamped, addressed envelope to make it effortless to redeem. Friendly, high-quality service from a wonderful, local business.

Honest, helpful, and fair priced; my family has had thier cars taken care of by ingold for ages. However, Ive had a few issues recently including a tire change where they left the lug nuts on my rear left tire COMPLETELY loose. They were extremely professional about fixing it but it still is concerning that it happened.

The people who work here are very professional and ethical. I came in after having a false diagnosis ($350) from another mechanic. The technician checked right away and told me the bumps were just low profile tires on a tight suspension. After they too me the news they said merry Christmas

Honest, trustworthy and best prices around. Mechanics and sales/desk folks are all very personable and friendly. They consistently tell you exactly what is needed, no more. They are always very busy - which to me is a sign of a good mechanic! Go there, you wont be sorry.

There are professional and experienced mechanics at Ingold. I had a wheel bearing problem fixed at Ingold which had been wrongly diagnosed at 4 different places which cost me a lot of time and money. Ingold was able to find the problem right away and fixed it in no time.

They sent me to a place to which they customarily sell their used tires. One of the tires I bought from that place was a dud, and when I called Ingold respectfully to inform them of that, I got attitude. I do not wish to interact with them again.
