I am in between how I feel about P.F. When My husband and I first joined, no one gave us a tour, offered to show us (me) how to use anything and didnt even give us a general overview. (Bathrooms, tanning etc.) That was disappointing. Secondly, I am confused about the tanning beds only being 10 and 12 min beds? Is there a health reason or...? Im not sure. When I tanned the first time, they could see it was my first time. It was about 5am, the place was dead, and no one even offered to show me how the beds worked. (Each place is different and when youre not an avid tanner, those things are intimidating) After going a few times now, I have noticed the customer service doesnt really get better.. again, this is just from my personal experience. I would like to kno about the other things they offer (massage or water chair? I have been told by a member) I asked about it and all I was told was that it was a 10 min massage with water. THATS IT? Didnt tell me where it was, how it worked, nothing. Its just very aggravating when you are COMPLETELY new at something and you cant get anyone to tell you anything about the products or amenities they offer. :/ The place is clean and orderly tho. No one seems to judge or make fun from what I have seen. The people get in, do their thing and leave. And the price was a plus. Hopefully when I get someone that can actually introduce me to some of the other things they offer, I can give 5 stars. But until then, here is to pushing random buttons hoping one of them is the right one. :):):)

Unless you are the type of person who likes giving a gym direct access to a checking or savings account number (and routing number) in order to get a membership, dont go here. I knew the price was too good to be true. They might be the last places in the US it seems to not accept credit or debit cards or any form of other payment. Im simply not risking my entire savings and checking account balance if they have their systems compromised and my account frozen or risking an overdraft. It was a huge shame because I actually was really looking forward to signing up here. If they ever are willing to eat the 2.75%-3.5% credit card charge to ensure my protection from fraud and overdraft, like every other company, then Ill sign up in a heart beat.

Today was my first day here. I drove from Franklin, NC to check the new facility, since I am black card holder. When I first walked in I was not greeted. There were three people behind the desk. One young lady was assisting a customer and the other two was talking. After standing there for about 5 min. One of the reps grabbed my key and scanned. I saw the scanner but I wanted to make sure it was ok for me to go ahead and workout since I didnt originally joined this particular facility. I went on to to workout but I was disgusted when I saw a darn dog walking around in the facility. I came here b/c the reviews was so good on the cleanliness of the facility. If I come to a gym a DOG should not be here.

I just got a Black Card membership at this location and so far I love it. I have been a member of two other local gyms and have had horrible experiences! It is so clean in this gym which is one thing I look for in a gym. The staff is really nice and helpful as well. I have not had any problems with having to wait for a machine sense Planet Fitness has so many! I also love the massage beds and tanning machines. And not to mention this gym is very well maintained. Just come in and do a walk through and I promise you will want to join!

I love this gym. I like the sanitation stations for cleaning equipment. Plenty of equipment for sure. 2 things I dont like. 1. Having to wade through people to hand my keys to be scanned in. I understand, just not convenient. 2. The ease or explanation how to use "The Spa". Ive searched website. Ive walked around in there. No direction(s) or assistance. How the hair cut works? Just wish it was more clear without having to ask.

I only gave one star cause Ive not joined yet . Do want to tho . I was wanting to know if I get the 20 a month membership how often can I tan ? Is it unlimited ? I have back & shoulder problems & do not want to hurt myself . I know I can walk & cycle but will someone be there to help figure out what machines I can use without hurting myself worse ?? Thanks in advance for any information you may post for me .

Very clean environment with lots of machines. I was impressed with how many treadmills and ellipticals there are. When I went to the Golds Gym on Hendersonville Road I got exasperated with the limited equipment and it consistently felt too crowded; Planet Fitness has a spacious and well lit venue. Staff here is very polite and the monthly rates are quite reasonable.

agree with what others said about the direct access to checking account. not willing to accept my debit or credit card..or cash? nope. no thanks. theres no protection if there is an unauthorized charge that way. simply not willing to do that..or you can give them 200$ cash for 18 months and >and< your cc #. so no, sorry guys.

This is one of the best PFs Ive worked out at. Large gym floor, the hydrobeds are in private booths, and the whole gym was very clean. Stuff was polite, kind, well spoken, and informative. Please open a PF in Asheville!

We are loving it so far! Extremely clean and friendly staff. The machines are awesome (and there are a lot of them)! Very excited to have a 1st class fitness center in Hendersonville! The price is fantastic.

If you like your Wi-Fi mediocre at best and cold showers, this is your gym. Been to 40 other planet fitnesses around the country and this one had some of the weakest amenities.

Locked in contract now when it clearly states no contract. They will not allow me to quit after trying multiple times. Joined another center but planet is still charging me.
