I would not recommend Bosely to anyone who is considering a hair transplant procedure. I had one consultation with Bosely basically looking for information about the procedure, cost, etc. The counselor I spoke with is Bill Leach in the Raleigh office. He gave me an overview of the procedure, then immediately took me to another office to look into financing this procedure for me, and wanted to book my appointment for the procedure. I was told it would cost me 15K to have 2500 grafts inplanted (way over priced). I left there stating I would think about it some more before making my decision. During the weeks that followed I was bombarded with mail (coupons for hair grafts etc) from Bosely medicial in Raliegh. I even recieved a letter confirming I had an appointment for my procedure. I had not scheduled a procedure, and was told I would have to provide a $1000 deposit in order to secure an appointment, but it appears that in desperation to get my money, I had been scheduled for the procedure without the deposit. I called the day prior to the appointment thinking to myself maybe I should go ahead and do this with Bosely. Common sense got the best of me since I had not even met with the Doctor to consult about this surgical procedure, yet Bill Leach expected me to just show up and have this procedure performed. Needless to say I cancelled the appointment which I had never scheduled in the first place. When I did this Bill Leach was rude and told me that if I cancel and he tells the Doctor that I am not showing up, that she (Dr. Angela Phipps) would refuse to do this procedure for me in the future and that I would need to find another Doctor. I laughed and said "ok.. Ill do just that." I did a google search and found Dr. Arthur Zacco of AZ hair restoration. I did a consult with he and his very professional staff/team, and I am currently 1 week post op from a 3000 follicular unit graft procedure performed by Dr. Zacco and his awesome staff. I could not be more pleased with the results thus far and have the confidence this procedure will yeild the results one could expect from a properly performed hair restoration procedure. The cost for this was $9,500 in case you were wondering. That price includes everything, including blood work which is done about a week prior to the procedure. Bosely does not do this, so I guess if you have hepatitus or some sort of blood disorder that would preclude you from having a procedure performed they dont care as long as they get your money. I got 500 more graft units than I would have recieved had I done this with Bosely. Bottom-line is this. With Dr. Zacco I was and am treated like a patient should be treated. Dr. Zacco is there for the initial consult, pre-op appointment, actual procedure, and does all the follow up appointments over the course of 12-14 months monitoring progress for no additional cost or hidden fee. Oh and BTW all of the people that work in his office are hair transplant technicians not what I would call "used car salesmen" like the previously mentioned Bill Leach of Bosely medical in Raliegh. I believe Bills job title is "Hair transplant counselor, but in reality he is just a salesman. If you are planning to have a hair transplant and desire quality care and work from an experienced surgeon with a top notch team. I recommend Dr. Arthur Zacco of AZ Hair Restoration in Apex, NC. If you dont want to take my word for it, do a consult with Bosely and then do another with Dr. Zacco and I think youll be able to tell who the better choice is.

Bosley Raleigh deserves every star I am giving it in this review. From location, to staff, treatment, support, and especially Dr. Phipps, Bosley Raleigh has been amazing during this experience. Dr. Phipps is a realist. She doesnt sell you "pie-in-the-sky". She adroitly sells you herself, her knowledge and know how. She gives you the confodence that you are making an informed decision. To me, thats priceless. I purchased more items because I trusted her. Now I dont know what the final result will look like. I may end up just as bald on top as I did when I came there in March, but there treatment, professionalism, and realism was unmatched. If the way they treat you is an indication of the results I can expect, I am going to love what I see in six months.

I had the restorative process done on the 26th of May. Dr Phipps was awesome informative, caring, and by what I can see in the mirror an artist as well, Im 11 days out my scalp is healing well no real redness. My incision is healing well, I have had it looked at by a provider in my office and the margins are tight and the scaring should be minimal. (not that anyone will see it) looking forward to getting stitches on Friday, I have called twice to the office and spoke to Cynthia and she was able to answer all my post-op questions. I am very satisfied at this point.

Excellent experience all around! I had a big daddy procedure, 3100 grafts in one sitting and was there from 7:30 until 6pm. The entire staff was awesome. I had very little swelling and compared it to having a sinus infection. Minimal discomfort. I look forward to my 8 month follow up in February.
