June 16, 2015 Typically, I do not render testimonials or issue consumer type reports of products or services that I use. I do occasionally deviate from this practice when, by my measure, the product or service is either very poor or outstanding. In this case I am happy to offer my opinion of Flores and Foley Roofing and Sheet Metal to anyone who will listen. One word about covers it...yep…OUTSTANDING! But wait there’s more….. Recently I purchased a historic duplex in Downtown Wilmington. On the recommendation of my Realtor, I contacted Peter Foley for a pre buy roof inspection. Mr. Foley was very professional and did not leave any of my questions as to the condition of this older metal roof unanswered. Fortunately, the roof did not need replacement. Nor did Mr. Foley recommend it. That was refreshing! However, it was in need of substantial repair. I made an appointment to meet with Mr. Foley and his foreman Gaylord at the property. They were ten minutes early…..Not Late….EARLY! They walked me thru the entire scope of work. They provided me with a start date and a completion date. Both were accurate. All workmanship exceeded my expectations. When they left the site it was as clean as the day they arrived. I visited the job site several times while they were working. No loud music, no horseplay, just a “nose to the grindstone”, get the job done attitude. This company will only use the best materials. Their jobs come with a warranty. No reasonable person could ask for more than this contractor offers. They are honest, punctual, accurate, professional and an excellent value. If you are anything like me, you don’t need any more than this and likewise, you cannot afford less. This company is now on my team of professionals. I doubt seriously I will be using any other roofing contractor for any job large or small at any time in the foreseeable future. J. Ross Feeney Wilmington N.C.

I contacted four different roofing companies for quotes for my roof. Flores and Foley was in the ballpark, but most of all, I felt I was in professional hands with Senior Salesman Kevin Cook. He explained the details of my new roof, scheduled the job, and showed up with the crew on the designated day. The crew worked so hard and finished the job in a day and a half. Amazing! The clean up was VERY thorough which I hear is unusual. Not one thing around my house was disturbed. ( I have yet to have found even one stray nail.) After the job was complete the boss, Peter Foley, showed up to inspect the site and speak with me about my satisfaction. Flores and Foley went above and beyond to do an excellent job. I would not use any other roofer in town.

My house developed a leak around the chimney several years ago. At that time, I performed a makeshift repair using caulk and had no other issues. I hired Flores and Foley to properly address the area for $1045. Their work created a large leak causing water to stream down the wall. Flores and Foley wanted to charge an additional $500 to repair their work. Another roofing company was called in for consultation and discovered that some of the work that Flores and Foley charged me for was never even done. In addition, some substandard flimsy aluminum was tacked up. Had they done what they claimed, they would have seen the obvious problem. When I called Peter Foley regarding reimbursement, he hung up on me.

Residential renovation project required the re-roofing of two structures. The Flores and Foley team provided excellent advise, excellent work, and very competitive pricing. The work required the roof to be modified to eliminate a shallow valley with not enough slope to divert the water and leaves. The roof "cricket" was installed quickly and was very effective in correcting the problem, and the change order was not expensive thanks to the expertise of the team on site. Peter, Kevin, Jorge and the entire team did a great job, and were great to work with. You would be making a mistake if you did not use Flores & Foley for your roofing needs.

Kevin Cook was our sales contact. Flores & Foley did a great job on the roof and a fantastic job of clean up of material . There was a storm the morning after starting the project and we had some water damage. No problem. Kevin had Nandos Painting in our home the next week to repair the ceiling. They arrived on time ,wiped their feet prior to entering and made me feel like I was in a bubble with all the plastic and tape used to cover our furniture. Professional representation, excellent work, attention to detail, really liked how the drip edge color was used to match the roof. Did not think about that or expect it. Sounds like a simple thing but really made a difference in the finished curb appeal look. Finishing off the boots to match the roof color was a plus. Only area of improvement we could find was a little more attention to the clean up of material around the house when finished. No major issues just a few more roofing nails found than we anticipated. Essentially a great and solid "tight" finished job.

I havent ever written a review online before, but felt compelled to pay it forward after the service I received from Flores & Foley. They recently put a brand new roof on my 1960s ranch on College Acres in Wilmington. I gotta say it looks like a brand new house (from the top up :-). I did my homework and received 4 different quotes from roofers until I called F&F. I am glad I went with them. A roof is a huge purchase...I would suggest at least getting a quote and an idea of their customer service before going with anyone else. Beau Gunn

They are waterproofing experts with top notch employees. They remain competitive in the marketplace and are diverse enough to handle production as well meticulous custom work. Our house was struck by lightening and we contacted Flores & Foley to give us a quote to repair roof damage. They were very professional on the phone and sent someone out that same day. They were able to schedule us for the next day. The workers arrived at the scheduled time and did a fantastic job repairing our roof. You cant tell where the repair was made. I would highly recommend them for any type of roofing work!
