I dented my beautiful, late-model car and was devastated. Through the Better Business Bureau Web site, I emailed three body shops. One body shop called me back: the owner, Guy Miller, of Akron Auto Painting and Collision on Bowery Street in Akron. Mr. Miller offered to give me a free estimate that afternoon. Even though I had called the other two body shops and made appointments for estimates, I didn’t leave Akron Auto Painting and Collision because I was treated with a level of integrity and honesty that I hadn’t experienced in decades. First, Guy Miller treated me with honesty and patience, making me comfortable with any questions that I had. He showed me their state-of-the-art computer system that illustrated every part that needed to be replaced or repaired. He patiently explained the insurance process for claims adjustment. When I went outside the building to call my insurance agent, I came upon another customer who had just arrived to pick up his repaired car. He was elated with the high quality of work and expert job done on his car’s previously crumpled front end. My insurance agent explained to me that since Akron Auto Painting and Collision is a select service shop, Guy Miller’s dedication to excellence was already acknowledged by them and his shop was on a special listing of approval. The insurance company as well as Akron Auto Painting and Collision guaranteed the body and painting work for the lifetime that I own the vehicle. Also, the insurance company trusted Mr. Miller’s shop that, if an additional part was needed during the course of the repair, the part could be included automatically without the work being stopped to have an adjuster approve the addition. The work on my car was outstanding and looked like it was right off the showroom floor. When I got in my repaired car, I found a thank you note from everyone in the company along with a complimentary mug and t-shirt which I’ll wear with pride. I highly recommend Akron Auto Painting and Collision which has the utmost in integrity, workmanship, honesty and promptness. I don’t ever want my car to get a bump again, but it was an honor to meet such a high-quality owner who worked hard to create his own reputable business.

Akron Auto Painting and Collision took what was a scary and horrible situation and made it painless for me. The repair work done on my vehicle was impeccable when it was all said and done I couldnt even tell my vehicle was ever in an accident. Guy who is the owner is easy to talk to and his so called right hand man Zak stayed on top over everything and was a top notch gentleman. These two guys were great to work with. I highly recommend if you or a family or friend are ever involved in an accident you go to Akron Auto Painting.
