First, they were rude to me in person and on the phone and provided me with very little information every time I needed it. They charged me $1,500 and did not fix my car. They charged me $500 to replace my shifter--which was aligned wrong. They were late returning the car to me, and I was late going to work. When I drove off the lot, the shifter was worse than when I dropped it off. It was aligned one whole gear off. For Instance, it said I was in Neutral when I was in Drive. The mechanic had JUST test driven the car and brought it directly to me--and did not think this was a problem. AFTER CHARGING ME $500 TO FIX IT. I should have turned right around and gone back, but I was more focused on not losing my job at the time. The other $1,000 I paid them was to fix my wheel bearing that had gone bad. The sensor had gone bad along with it causing my traction control to come on along with my anti lock breaks every time I pressed the gas. Essentially, I could not go anywhere because I every time I pressed the gas the car abruptly stopped along with all these devices coming on unnecessarily. The only way to get my car to move was to roll down a hill and gain enough speed to override all the devices stopping my car. This was February. Now, only 8 months later--all the issues are back. I called them, and as usual they were rude and unhelpful. I have passed 12,000 miles so there is no warranty. Every time I go anywhere I have to resort to searching for a hill to roll down in order to get my car going. I have an hour drive to work and its not safe for me or my kids--but I dont have another $1,500 to give them to not fix my car all over again. I would advise you never to use their services. This has heavily impacted my life and my safety and I am going to be sure to tell everyone I know.

I took my car in to have an oil change at a "nationally known" tire and battery center this past Friday. I received a phone call approximately one hour after leaving the facility to inform me that I needed to have new struts placed in the car secondary to a rattling that was discovered upon moving the car into the lift bay. I was told after a "discount", the repair for this was going to cost me nearly $1000. I took it for a second opinion at Highway Garage, mainly because of all the excellent reviews I had read. A gentleman by the name of Larry, answered the phone, who was able to "squeeze" me in the same day to have a technician look at my car. He was gracious and extremely accommodating to me, especially knowing that this was Labor Day weekend. Justin greeted me when I arrived, going with me for a ride in my car to try to hear the rattle described to him. When he took it back to the garage, he informed me that I would not need new struts, and that the sound was coming from a bad rotor that needed to be replaced. Needless to say, they took care of the problem quickly, promptly, and it resolved all of the rattling immediately. Not only did these guys save me nearly $1000, but the staff was excellent, kind, and extremely honest and fair. I am so happy to say that I have finally found honest mechanics and a garage that I can take my car to when necessary. Thank you to the entire team at Highway Garage. You are all awesome!

Here is my story. I had a noticable scratch on my car. Highway garage people gave me an estimate and persuaded me not to submit claim to insurance. I went along. They all keep saying "we are in business for decades and you have to trust us". Shortly I got phone call that only the way to fix it is to increase the original price by 25%. I went along with that too. After they finished, some damage was not addressed and I asked them to fix it. After that it turned ugly. I tried to insist and in response, gentlemen from Highway Garage became intimidating and simply abusive. I was treated like a trash, literally. The good news: never again!

Carstar is great because the people behind the company are great. They explain my options, get me in and out in a timely manner with quotes, and are very fair in pricing. Joan at the front desk is exceptionally sweet and courteous. Dennis remembers customers and will do what he can to recommend the best option for you per your situation. Scott was a miracle worker for my car and helped me out with my indented bumper and smoothed it out to look just-like-new and saved me lots of money. I just have the utmost gratitude toward this company and recommend them to anyone needing repair on their vehicle.

Just purchased and had them install 4 new tires for my 2010 Camry. The salesmans tire recomenation was spot on. The workmanship and balancing are very good. No scuffs or scratches on the wheels like Ive experienced with other tire dealers. The car rides better than new. Ill be going back soon to get a set of tires for my Highlander.

Everyone there seems to have a smile on their face and greet you with friendly comments. There mechanics do a great job and the price is very, very fair. The place is clean and the auto shop is well designed.
