I used to be a regular customer of Rainbow and was always satisfied with the quality of the job done, but like another reviewer stated, quality has decreased substantially. Attention to detail was severely lacking: from the vacuuming of the interior to the wash itself to the drying and wiping down of the doorjams (the latter of which was non-existent). My back window as well as side mirrors were left streaky, there were several "spots" left on my car (that I ironically had no trouble removing with a cloth and a little pressure) and am now noticing a mark, almost like a scratch that I KNOW was not there before. As for the interior, carpets were barely vacuumed, the seats nor dash/console were touched. These were all services that they offered in the past. For as courteous and prompta as the gentleman was who greeted me, watching the two who were "detailing" the vehicle afterwards was like watching paint dry. Ive never seen someone move so slow!! Even the woman who works the register was so disinterested in her job that she felt the need to continue her phone conversation, never saying a word to me or even making eye contact. Rude! While its true that their prices have stayed very reasonable, its also becoming more obvious that you get what you pay for. Rainbow was always the exception, but no longer. Safe to say that I wont be back.

I told the attendant Im handicapped and needed help. I couldnt walk the distance from the back vacuuming area to the building and then all the way through to the front. He said no one was allowed to drive my car. I then told him nicely that Id have to go elsewhere and he told me how to turn to get out of the place! I ran over an orange cone and he as well as a few other workers began screaming for me to STOP. He said "didnt you see that cone?" (exactly where he told me to turn) I said "NO, I didnt". He told me I shouldnt be driving. It was such a bad experience and I was surprised they didnt care about my business. So on my way home I noticed another car wash called Shine-N-Ride on Galbraith in Arlington, where it looked like they were cleaning the inside of cars ~ thats exactly what I wanted. I went there and couldnt be more pleased. The young man took my car right at the front and another man helped me get to a bench offering other help if I needed it. My car was cleaned inside and out beautifully and the car was brought back to me ~ rather than about 50 feet away where one would normally have to walk. What a pleasure compared to Rainbow. I highly recommend this place.

Yesterday my daughter and I took both our vehicles in. My daughter grabbed her shopping bag from her passenger seat and accidentally left her wallet with $357 of her Christmas money inside. When we both got into our vehicles she immediately saw her wallet and realized she had accidentally left it in the car. Immediately she could tell it had been opened as cash was was peaking out - it had been zippered shut catching the remaining cash and money torn. Immediately she discovered the roll of twenties was gone and the remaining smaller bills was left. We immediately asked to see the manager who kept telling us to read the sign which said manage your valuables. Never once did he apologize or say he was sorry- instead he kept telling my daughter there is a reason for the sign. We called the police and filed a report but my daughter will never see that money again nor will this car wash who clearly employees a criminal see our business again. To make matters worse - we finally get into our vehicles to return home and a ten year old could have done a better job cleaning the interior. Dont waste your time or your hard earned money at this establishment.

When they were Rainbow, I was always happy with the job they did. Thrilled. I paid my first visit there since AAA acquired it, thinking it must be fantastic since they jacked up all the prices. Fortunately, Im a AAA member, so saved a few bucks back, even though I ordered the top-priced wash job, plus extra $ to have the trunk vacuumed. Granted, there were a LOT of cars waiting to be washed. And, the interior of my car was fairly bad. (no trash. just leaves....who knows how or why?) Bottom line, I paid over $20 and got a horrible car cleaning. There were areas of my car on the outside that were still grimy. the inside of my car was much better than before, but not clean. not even close. they left windex sprayed on my dash and even my instrument panel. the carpets and even the seats still had bits of leaves all over. all around, a really crappy job.

Loved this place when it was RAINBOW CAR WASH. This is the third time I have been here since the change over. 1st time was great job well done as some of the regular employees were still working there. 2nd time there they vacuumed half of the car and wiped down half of the interior. Complained to the manager about it and he said he would give me a free wash. Well I never made it back for the free wash. 3rd time back didnt notice that no one wiped down the interior of the car until after I pulled of the lot. The car didnt even smell like they used a cleaners on the inside SO I AM GOING TO PUT KUDOS OUT FOR PARKWAY WASH IN CLIFTON. DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!! SAME PRICE BETTER SERVICE!! I will drive the extra 20 min just to have it done right and at least have that fresh smell of a car cleaned

They broke my ignition and now refuse to even let me contact their insurance. My mechanic said it was definitely their fault and the repair will be roughly $500. I also have a fresh scratch in my new paint job. I also asked three attendants not to open my rear passenger door because Ive sealed it due to some air leakage. It was opened. The manager told me that those guys dont deal with the door opening. WELL why did yet agree and not tell me to let the guys up front to know. The fact that you arent allowed to tip means that these employees dont care at all how they treat your vehicle. And since the car wash "isnt responsible" you end up getting screwed. A business should have insurance to cover incidences like this. The fact that they wont share that info shows that they are shady!

So my car was pretty dirty, both inside and out. No trash, just leaves and debris. The inside was vaccumed nicely, but thats about it. I paid for the premium wash, and I left with Windows that were greasy and smudged. Im not expecting them to detail my car, but I do expect that the Windows be cleaned properly. Its like they wiped them down with a dirty rag and completely missed the front corners. I had to go home and Windex my Windows myself because they were so smudged up and streaky. Whats the point of paying 26 dollars if I have to go over the work my self again!? Also paid 2 dollars for the armor all for the tires.... Its supposed to shine them up a bit right? No shine at all. I think they must have just wiped water on them. Rip off.
