I first had Halpin out in December 2016 for 3 toilets that needed work. Tommy was the service tech. I wound up paying nearly $400 for 2 toilets to be rebuilt (inner guts of the tank, not exactly NASA technology) and the third one he was clueless about! Even among high service rates these days, I truly felt utterly ripped off. So, one of my five toilets remains out of service because not only did he not have a clue, but he also wanted to sell me a $600 new toilet! I said no way. I only let him fix the other two because I was faced with an expensive service charge anyway if I chose to have No work done. On top of all this, he was more interested in selling me a pricey service plan. So fast forward to June 2017 and one of the rebuilt toilets is leaking by and running a lot again. That was the problem when I spent the $400. So I called and complained that it was doing the same thing and should have lasted much longer than this. They would not commit to fixing it for free on the phone so I had them come out anyway thinking it was a no-brainer that they would stand behind their expensive work and fix it without charge. Nope. I wound up being charged another $132.54 to replace the rubber flapper! I dont think its gold-plated but I havent checked. And the service tech must have flushed my toilets about 40 times - thanks for the water bill. What an utter RIPOFF. Their excuse? They said they only warranty their work for 30 (or was it 60?) days and besides, the previous tech was no longer with the company. Gee, go figure. And the toilet wont flush properly now! This company is the biggest RIP-OFF I have ever dealt with in the service industries. (The service tech this time, Kevin, was a really nice guy and his hands were tied by the lousy companys policy. He called the office trying to get the work for free or reduced without success. I told him this would be the last time Halpin would be allowed to step in my building). These 5 star ratings should be six star ratings so people could use a Negative star, as in this case.

I cannot speak highly enough of how AMAZING Halpin Plumbing is -- for me personally and for my clients. I cannot say enough as to how great Taylor and his team at Halpin plumbing were. Im currently finishing my basement and had a very complex plumbing job that required multiple sections of concrete flooring to be broken up, old plumbing removed, and new drains & vents for fixtures installed. The teams professionalism was truly unmatched throughout the entire process. As far as pricing they were by far the best and even when surprises arose when connecting to 50+ year old plumbing the estimates to fix those areas were fair, explained thoroughly, and executed quickly. The team was able to start within a week of asking them to begin and the whole job was complete in a day and a half. I highly recommend you at least give Halpin a call to provide an estimate. Also look in your local Valpak for some seriously good coupons if youre looking to get work done.

Halpin Plumbing was recommended to me by my plumbers who I have trusted for years! I could not have been more impressed. Jason, Geoff, & Pedro were EXCEPTIONAL!!! My trusted plumbers recommend this crew and I even waited an extra day because they were finishing up another job. Professional, polite, work focused, and offered multiple solutions with carefully explained pros and cons. They redirected an replaced over 200 feet of drainage, under my asphalt driveway and along side of the driveway. I felt intelligently guided and informed in my decisions. And the result was fantastic. I have seen other jobs and the quality and results cannot compare. It was a two day job, they recommended a tree service, blacktop repair all of amazing quality and quick results. I recommend them highly!

We had flooding in our basement and called Halpin Plumbing. We had a sewer check valve and a sewer liner installed. Darrel W, Geoff, Jason, Pedro and Ethan all worked diligently and were very professional. We now will longer have to worry about any type of flooding in our basement. If we ever have any type of plumbing issue we will call Halpin Plumbing. I highly recommend them as they know what they are doing and they do the job right. They are honest and up front with you. They tell you the pros and cons of the issue you are facing. Halpin Plumbing is a Great company. Call them and you wont be disappointed.

I had Halpin come out and put a drain system in our backyard because we were flooding with all the water this winter/spring and it has worked like a dream!! They told me I wouldnt have any water in my backyard again and they definitely werent wrong!! They were easy to work with, reasonably priced and sent out a great crew. Darrell and Geoff did a great job with everything and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Ask to get an estimate on sewer smell. Two guys walked around my yard, smoked cigarettes and scratched their heads. I had to suggest they smoke bomb my vents which they did but they had no idea why no smoke came out my vents. Asked them to check if vents were clogged. They would not go on the roof. Tried to charge me $450 but could not itemize. I gave them half. Not sure if they are inept or this was a scam.

Halpin did an amazing job clearing out the tree roots in my sewer lines. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional the whole time. They also discovered that the root infestation went out to the public sewer lines, and went above and beyond to help me out by contacting and coordinating with MSD of Cincinnati. Worth every penny, and I will certainly go to them for any future plumbing needs!

They had to come out to fix the toilet 3 different times to fix a leaking toilet. The first time there were 3 guys. The second time there were 2, the last time just one. The kicker is, the toilet still isnt fixed. One the first trip, they had to go to home depot for parts 3 separate time. Moe, Larry, and Curly should be the companys name.
