Be very CAREFUL doing business with Fitzgerald & Sons. Technician came to my house and misdiagnosed both problems he was supposed to fix. First was the bathtub: We informed him that the tub was leaking very bad and his fix was to caulk around the spout and lever. He never verified that the leak was fixed and after he left it leaked as it had. The second issue was a leak in the sink in the master bath. He replaced the P-trap (it was damaged) and informed us that the leak was due to a crack in the sink itself and did nothing more. (FYI the sink is a 1/2 inch cast iron sink) Replacement of the sink was quoted at $400+. So... to caulk around the tub fixtures and replace a P-trap I was charged $363. Upon contacting the owner to see what resolution we could come to, he informed me that he would look into the job, talk with the technician and get back with me. Since this communication I have called 4 times left 3 personal messages with the owner and have yet to receive any response. I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU NOT USE FITZGERALD AND SONS AND INSTEAD FIND A COMPANY WITH INTEGRITY, COMPETENCE AND SOME LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

i had a back up in our house about 9 pm i called Fitzgerald and said they would send someone right out. They finally called me at midnight to say they had no one to come out,but they could come out the next day. i was told they would call before showing up,they did not. They snaked out the drain until their auger stopped,they said it couldnt be fixed they would need to dig up our yard and not to use our water. It was $500.00 I called our Citys water and sewer and talked to them,they were out in an hour found the issue and our water problem was fixed-no charge-The city will do the digging to completly repair the problem, im not sure why Fitzgerald didnt do that. They also told me someone would call me the next day to ask how the service was and to give me an estimate to dig up our yard and fix the problem........still waiting on that call as well!

I woke up to every homeowners disaster.... a leak in my finished basement that I couldnt find. 3-4 inches of water on the floor - all I could think of was how much this was going to cost me! I cleaned everything up, turned off the water, and called a plumber. I actually tried to call a "solo" contractor first. I couldnt get the first two I called to answer the phone! I then called the only "big name" reputable plumbing company I had heard of here in Peachtree City - Fitzgerald Plumbing. The receptionist was nice, efficient, and had a 2-person team here in 45 minutes. They were here about 1.5 hours -- I paid $197. The service was excellent - both on the phone and with the techs. I couldnt be happier with this company!

I had a kitchen Moen faucet problem, it is 14 years old. So I bought a replacement unit and paid $199.00 for it. Then I realized I could not replace it as I did not have the right tools or knowledge to do so. So I called Fitzgerald & Son. They told me that Meon faucets have a life time warranty for original owners of the house. So I called Meon and sure enough they are sending me a new upgraded 2016 replacement faucet. I can not thank Fitzgerald & Sons enough for being so helpful. When the new faucet arrives Fitzgerald will install it for me. Fitzgerald has saved me $199.00. This is the second time this company has helped me. Thanks Fitzgerald. G.Taber

Very very disappointed. Never have I written a review and I am disappointed this has to be negative. Called Fitzgetald at 7:45 a.m. And was given a "window" of all day. So I stayed home all day. Cancelled everything. Carried the phone all day. Got a call at 4:50 pm saying they cant get to me. I could make an appointment for next Tuesday. Had I known this at 7 am I certainly would have made other plans. I read the negative reviews here and decided to give the benefit of doubt. Big mistake. Just be honest when someone calls, their time is also important.

Fantastic service. Scott the Technician was amazing. Explained the problem and our options. I had a leak on my water line. For what the leak detection "experts" from Atlanta wanted to charge to just locate the leak, Fitzgerald & Sons located the leak & fixed the problem!!! Ended up costing less than half of what I thought I would have to pay. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Called late one afternoon with a relatively minor issue. They tried to come that afternoon, but couldnt, but they DID call to tell me they wouldnt which was nice. They were there first thing the next morning and handled the job very quickly, no muss no fuss. Friendly. Professional. Charged the minimum. ($79) A great experience.
