Dylan arrived three hours earlier than Id expected. He then quoted us on several quick fix items, replacing faucets/hose bibs, and a toilet. However, when we asked how much it would be for them to pick-up and deliver the toilet for us (Im 6.5 months pregnant, my husband and I cant lift it.) he said he needed to call his boss. He then returned, saying that he was advised to not take the job and leave. Im uncertain as to how or why that happened. We were prepared for their overpriced service fees, but not prepared to be charged $45 for someone to refuse to do the work. Dylan was very polite, and he really had no reason from us to avoid the job. Instead, I paid a $45 estimate fee for someone who then refused the work. Edit: I spoke with Tommy, the owner, who assured me that this was just a misunderstanding. They are not able to deliver toilets purchased outside of their business partners and would need the toilet we wanted delivered before they could install. He did offer to come complete the work for us himself, but we would need to get the product to our home. This simply didnt fit our needs. Since wed already had the service from another plumber, Tommy offered and did refund our $45.

Heritage Plumbing is located in Ballground GA about 15 mins south of Jasper. I currently run the Microtel Inn and Suites in Jasper. I called Heritage Plumbing about two years ago regarding a hot water heater issues. Tommy (I guess owns the company) was out a few times to install an igniter element. After a few times out to replace the same issue, he suggested we install a tankless heater. Which it comes with a price tag of around ten thousand dollars. I manage this hotel and Im not the owner. With any expensive of this kind, it needs to have the owners approval. At the time we did not have this amount in our budget. So, we refused the installation. I called on Monday 5/22/17 to schedule a tech to come out and fix a leaking toilet. BECAUSE we didnt put ten thousand dollars in his pocket, he has refused to do any business with us. Remember this was two years ago. Jasper is a small town just like Ballground is, Tommy you may want to consider stop being so petty, and do busy like a professional. I hope this post will help other companies in the Jasper area to keep away. Mountainside Plumbing by far the best in town, and thats who I recommend!

We could not be happier with our new tankless hot water system! We had 9 people stay in our home and of course everyone wanted to take showers first thing in the morning - we ALL had HOT water! Plus, I then ran the dishwasher for breakfast dishes and the washing machine for all the towels. I LOVE this system! As for Heritage Plumbing, they could not have been nicer in installing and explaining it to me. They were quick and efficient and it may not mean much to some but they actually cleaned up the mess and left it looking better than it started out. Plus, they really know their business, they care about what you need and will be quick to tell you if you dont need it. I really appreciate their honesty. Thank you Heritage Plumbing. My next call to you will be replacing all the old gold/brass fixtures in our tub and shower.

Heritage Plumbing and the owner, Tommy Phillips proved to me that True Professionalism and High Quality "Craftmanship" is still alive and well. He and his two Tehnicians performed a minor miracle with what was a big Septic Line problem. They had to "move" a 7-seat hot tub, cut thru & remove a 2x10 section of concrete patio, dig up about 30 of inlet and outlet 4" pipe, lower both ends of pipe 2-3", fill back in all dirt, mix-pour-smooth new concrete, re-set the Hot Tub, smooth out the yard (even re-planted two mature shrubs) and did ALL this in 7 hours ..... FLAWLESSLY !!! I could not be more of a Raving Fan!!! They get a 20 on a scale of 10!!!!

We picked Heritage because of the referrals from others. They have served all out needs at the church over the past 6+ years. It began with a complete remodel of a 12000 sq foot building and included total rearranging of bath rooms, a new shower, a baptistry with heater and circulator, and cleaning of septic lines. Since then we have had other situations they handled. We were having various problems with the pump not handling the uphill distance and elevation. Tommy came up with a much better pump and capacity. Numerous times they have helped us avoid a service call by coaching us through problems so we could solve.

I was notified by the water company of a major leak (my 3rd in 6 years) in my water line, right in the middle of the rains from hurricane Irma. Tommy the owner came right out (in the rain) and gave me my options explaining it in a way I could understand. When the weather cleared they ran a new line for me (something the other national company never suggested) so I should never have this issue again. His crew was awesome; they put everything inside and out back to normal and took extra care cleaning up. I highly recommend them. This is a company you can trust. so I will never have this issue again.

I knew that some day have good reason to let others know about a great experience with a plumber. I was referred to Heritage Plumbing by a friend who had used their services before. When I called for an appointment, I was not sure at the time if I would be getting more flooding from a sump pump in my basement. Tommy Phillips told me what to do and said he would be at my house after his next appointment. I didnt expect good news. It took Tommy no time to pinpoint the problem, a simple float switch gone bad. I had the connection at the water meter blow and became frantic trying to find a plumber to help. After calling several other plumbers and getting nothing but answering machines I called and spoke with Lindsey who said they were having a difficult day and very busy but would see if she could help. She called me back within 10 minutes and said Tommy was just finishing up a job close by and would be able to come by and help. Tommy quickly and professionally repaired the connection. With my kitchen faucet dripping when turned off, I called Heritage to schedule a home visit to replace the valve/cartridge or to install a new faucet. Tommy, from Heritage, spoke with me and instructed me over the phone on how to attempt a simple repair myself. I did as he suggested, and it worked!!! Thats my kind of plumber - the kind who I will call whenever I need an honest, knowledgeable, savvy (and funny!!) expert. These guys are the best!!
