These guys are a hidden gem, especially if you have a car that is more complex than the average shop can handle. Their customer service is very good, they do an excellent job, charge a fair price and are willing to work with customers on special situations other car repair shops cant handle. Specifically they worked with me to permit the removal of an intermittent special engine computer module that the dealer had to charge $1800 to replace, but could possibly be repaired by an expert in another city for $100 in about 4 days. They took the module out, stored the car and competently reattached it when I got the module repaired and returned. Another example was an intermittent electrical problem that had been very difficult to reproduce at several other shops over the course of more than a year. In one day they had it diagnosed (a loose connection screw on an electrical connection) and permanently repaired! Other shops have to replace major assemblies to fix this kind of problem because of the skill and potential time involved. This crew and management is very skilled in diagnostic techniques that a computer can not replicate!

Based on my most recent experience, I was happy with the experience. I had to take my car in to repair a hose, knowing they had to deal with some rusted areas to clamp the hose. They offered me a price - I thought it was high, checked online - and found it was actually comparable to what the price of repair should be. With all the extra work, they really didnt charge that much additional for labor. Everyone was pretty nice to deal with at the store.

First off, National Tire and Battery quoted me 500 bucks for a new radiator. These guys saved me almost 200 bucks on that. They have cleaned up messes left by other automotive shops for me before, and are now the only place I will take my car in the greater Cleveland area. Prices are always fair, you can always expect an honest evaluation from them, and they are genuinely nice people!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Misquoted work then overcharged for unauthorized work. Had my car for two whole days then had an employee call me to tell me they had no time to do the work on my car. Went to pick it up the next morning and found it unlocked in the parking lot with the keys on the floor. Inexcusable and extremely unprofessional. Stay away.

Fair, responsible, reliable, reasonable, skilled -- what more can I say? Ive a Saab owner whos been bringing my cars to Lakeshore since they first opened in 2002, and I have never been disappointed.

I thought the prices and owner was fair until I was charged for labor on an oil change! What kind of nonsense is that . Also didnt like limited hours and not very flexible with appointments
