The staff was nice, but they looked at my cars brakes twice and didnt fix the problem. They had me put new calipers, rotors, and pads on my car the first visit. After that, my brakes were smoking and still not working right so I take it back to them and describe my issues. They then told me that everything was fine and the burning smell and smoke were just my new brakes being worn in. I was also told that during this second visit they did a free 200 point inspection and gave me a sheet of notebook paper with a laundry list of things that they claim are wrong with my car. Immediately after picking my car up the second time I couldnt even reach my destination, but luckily could pull in to a Monro. Smoke was billowing out of my calipers and they were locking up even worse than they had been. Monro diagnosed the real problem in just a few minutes, turns out it was a bad brake hose the whole time (again, this all happened the same day and immediately after leaving Carstars shop the second time they had my Taurus for several days). So of course the new brakes that Carstar put on to begin with were ruined because they couldnt catch the root problem. Ive paid for my brakes twice now because of this and all because they couldnt diagnose a simple brake issue. It should also be noted that when I called to set up the original appointment I specifically asked if they were able to fix brakes because I knew there was something wrong with them.."oh, yeah" they said "bring it in". Havent had any problems since Monro fixed my car though! Save your time and money, go to someone who will actually fix your car. One positive note, they know how to clean the inside of a car out.

Just cant say enough about this company and the people that repaired my sons car. Great job and thank you for the great service. The car looks great. Thanks again for the loaner car, so my son could go to and from school. I hope we dont need you again! But if we do, we will be back and my family and I will refer you to everyone we know. Thanks again
