I took a pair of brand new $200 pants in to be hemmed. Very much later when I went to take them on a business trip, I found that they had cut about 9 inches off of the leg. To make a long story short, they said that too much time had passed for them to be able to do anything - the logic of which escapes me - I suggested that they have them converted into a pair of dress shorts and an argument ensued when they said I would have to pay for the alteration. I believe the person who made that decision not to be customer oriented. I believe it is a regular event for people to retrieve dry cleaning and hang it/them in a closet still in plastic until possibly much later. I have, for example, a $1500 cashmere coat that this establishment cleaned 2 years ago for me. It is still in the wrapper from when I picked it up. Needless to say I am not looking forward to the time when I gather the courage up to look to see if they ruined another not entirely inexpensive garment. "Holy dry cleaners Batman, soiled again!?" I believe people regularly do this. This establishment will never receive my business again.

I had an order of about $90 worth of cleaning and repairs (taking care of the winter coats for the year). For one spring (NorthFace) jacket that I took in, I only requested a zipper repair on the pocket. Long story short, they also dry-cleaned the jacket even though there were no care instructions on the jacket AND I did not request the jacket to be cleaned. This totally ruined the outer lining - causing puckering of the material in various spots. When I brought the item back in for explanation and what I thought would appropriately be a refund of the $7 cleaning that I didnt even request, they told me to take the jacket back to the retailer. I guess that $7 was worth them losing a customer for life.

This is a horrible place to take items for cleaning if you expect things back in a timely manner. We took our sons band uniform on Tuesday morning to get it cleaned, and was told both times we went back on Thursday that it would be done. It was not finished either time. Our promised delivery of Thursday by 5 pm has now affected my sons ability to march at Fridays game, and he has a competition on Saturday morning at 11, and will have no uniform to march there either. When I called and expressed a sense of urgency they pretty much just blew me off. I will NEVER use them again.

Ive been going here steadily for a couple years now and clothes are always clean, never damaged and they have always been on time with my orders. I use the service 1-2 times a month for business shirts, pants, suits and a few of my wifes dresses frim time to time. The customer service is a little rough around the edges but I dont know what you expect from a place like this. Im comfortable recommending this place to others.
