I rarely need items dry cleaned; however, it had been a while for a couple of my suits, so I found a really good coupon to Imperial Cleaners and decided to try it out. Given that it was only the second time in my life that Id dropped clothes off at the dry cleaners, I dropped off at 9am, took the tag that I was handed and left. I returned the next day around 11am, presented both the coupon ($15 off!) and the tag for my items. Not only was I told that the coupon would not be honored, I was also told that I should have presented my coupon the previous day (at a time when I was not yet paying for anything) and that my suits were not done. After reminding the employees of the store policy (clearly listed on their website) that the service should only take one day when dropped off at 9am, an employee found my suits--which HAD been serviced and were ready for pick-up. After some back and forth and calls to the manager, my coupon--which clearly stated the name and address of Imperial Cleaners--was again rejected due to issues with their "system." I was forced to pay full price... Almost $30 to have two small skirt suits cleaned. Upon leaving, an employee suggested that I call and speak with the owner. The following Monday, I called twice and was never put through to the owner. Needless to say, I am still disappointed in the way I was treated and will not be returning.

Today I met Linda at Imperial Cleaners. Linda was extremely rude from the get-go. It is my opinion that she should not be in a customer service position. I noticed a stain on the back of my shirt near the neck. As I looked closer, it was rust. Heres the thing… I pointed out a stain that was exactly the same but in several spots on another shirt when I dropped off. This links directly to their machines. Linda did not apologize and still charged me for the shirt. She was rude and very cold throughout the entire situation. I try my hardest to support local businesses, but I do not support those who do not take care of their customers. The dress shirts were $75 each. I even called back and spoke with Linda again, and she was still extremely rude and dismissive. Please do your research before using Imperial Cleaners.

I had no issues with the dry cleaner before this year. This year however, I have had 3 articles of clothing ruined. 1 pair of pants had iron print on the seat of the pants so bad that you could see through them. Two shirts had buttons ruined. They claimed they would get them fixed and mailed to me within the week. Not only did they not get to me, when I called to inquire about them, they told me that they would be unable to fix them and that they would reimburse a part of what I paid for them. Pants and shirts that were worn a couple times were replaced for a small fraction of the cost which I purchased them at and now I have to take time to go shopping for new clothes. Absolutely ridiculous. They wanted to give me in-store credit. Umm. No thank you, I will no longer be doing business here.

I have been going to Imperial Cleaners for over 2 years and have always had a wonderful experience. Recently, one of my shirts came back with a bit of damage to one of the cuffs due to one of their machines. I went in and talked to the owner (Mr. Simmons), and he graciously reimbursed me the cost of replacing the shirt, and gave me a few pieces of advice for shirt care. In addition to being a great business with whom Ive never had issues, Imperial Cleaners has shown there commitment to taking care of their customers and ensuring that customers feel cared for. A great shop with great values and great service! A+

All my buttons are ruined. I have no idea what chemical or process they use for dry cleaning and laundry. Shirts were laundered and pants were dry cleaned. Both shirts, pants had their buttons falling apart from the chemical process. The buttons just disintegrated. All my wonderful 50$ shirts ruined, pants without buttons or broken buttons. I gave them around 22 shirts, 8 pants and got a bill for 110$. Reasonable pricing, but horrendous process that was extremely expensive in the long run. I prefer the dry cleaners in new albany near the kroger.

I like taking my clothes there, I believe its the closest cleaner to my home, but on one of my trips I paid them around 15 dollars (give or take a few dollars) to clean two pair of slacks, and the black slacks had what appeared to be face makeup on the thigh. As you can imagine I was kind of annoying to take my pants out plastic wrap and immediately have to clean them off myself, but, so far, thats my only complaint. Good shop otherwise. Its funny I know which girl it was too because she was wearing quite a bit of make up. Lol. Would recommend.

Imperial Cleaners lost four buttons on a $100 jacket. Unacceptable. I also asked for button thread reinforcement with standoffs, and instead they only put one thread loop on each button. When I went to pick up the jacket, I noticed the poor quality and the guy behind the counter said that he didnt know what a standoff is, and had to ask around in the shop to find an employee who verified that what I requested was legit. They only accept cash/check. I recommend to avoid this place at all costs now.

My dress shirts routinely have broken buttons and most recently two dress shirts were returned with big stains (same spot on each shirt, fresh back from the cleaner). They tried to remove the spot, but no luck, ruined. They argued it had nothing to do with them, despite taking them back to try to remove the spot for free. Save your shirts and your money, dont go here for dress shirts.

suit jacket was cleaned and pressed to perfection, they had it done the next day (even though it was a holiday weekend), and even though I lost my claim ticket, they were able to retrieve my jacket within seconds of me asking for it. The store is easy to miss, but theyre worth looking for. They do only accept cash/check. So be prepared.

I left a blazer there and they promised it would be the next day by 1pm. I came in right before my interview and my jacket was dirtier than before. Someone had dropped it and ran it over with a cart. No reason given. After a week they had it cleaned and ready. But too late for my interview.

I was a fan of Imperial and went happily for several years. In the last year or two, service has fallen apart--two shirts lost, three ruined. Worst of all, ownership refuses to compensate in any way. Avoid at all costs.

I also called for alteration services and the woman that answered was not friendly...They obviously dont know businesses are to serve customers with courtesy.
