I received very disappointing service and have detailed it for other potential customers to assess. Last October (2013) Midwest purported to repair a slow leak around the bathroom exhaust fan outlet and vent on my roof for $290. When it began raining heavily again in April (2014) the leak popped back up. The leak is very small and slow and understandably difficult to diagnose so I wasnt upset about that part. But then I called to make an appointment and spoke with a scheduler and the roofer, but the roofer then did not show up for appointments, nor did he call. I cant imagine ever blowing off an appointment without a phone call to a client. Then, he claimed the work that had been done was shoddy and attempted to deny it was Midwest that had done it, though I had the check stub to prove it. And finally, he claimed my roof was over 20 years old and would need replaced soon. The house is only 10 years old and a professional gutter company told me a week later that the roof looked only 5 years old and was in great shape.

4/4/2016 We had construction of a patio in 2000 and they did not put any drainage on the patio. Water came into the basement and did massive damage. As we had to have the whole patio taken out. damaged the ledger board. They sent some body out with calk to fix the problem. LOL We contacted them and they said all well the warranty was over. This is a company that does not care about the customer at all. It cost us $$,$$$ to correct the problem. We had to hire a competent inspector and contractor. The house had to be lifted to get to the ledger board. Run away from this company. It would have been nice to hear Terry with at least some concern or some type of compensation. It was a terrible time in our life.

We moved into a new home in April, and had to have our air conditioner and furnace looked over to make sure everything was working correctly. One of their mechanics came out and checked everything, played with our dog, and was very quick and efficient. We signed up for their annual service agreement. They called us to schedule an appointment to come check our furnace again for the winter, and made time to come out when we were available. They sent the same mechanic to us that was there before. And again, he was efficient, explained everything to me that he checked and did. Again, was very kind. I am looking forward to using Midwest as my "go-to" company for heating and cooling.

We highly recommend Midwest! A few years ago they replaced both our furnace and A/C. The job was done professionally, the price was great and the equipment worked perfectly. On top of that their support is top notch. We had our furnace stop working one cold winter night and we called and actually talked with someone who was willing to come out right away. We deferred to the next morning and when they came out they found a leaf in the intake. They showed us how to avoid that and how to read the error codes on the furnace so that we can fix it ourselves in the future if we want to. What amazing service! Again - highly recommended!!

I would give this company 0 stars if possible. I got a quote from this company for a kitchen island, backsplash and kitchen counter extension, and granted it was a good price. So, sat down with their salesperson to get everything ordered. He said you will be hearing from me soon, 6 weeks later still no word. I have left him multiple voicemails but to this day havent gotten a call back. Thanks Midwestern for delaying my project. I dont understand how companies can run like this. Waste of my time! STAY AWAY especially if you are like me and expect a company to work with you in a timely and professional manner.

When deciding the time was right to redo the master bathroom in our home, we looked at two companies. Home Depot and Midwest. Midwest already handles our HVAC system and have great service. While Home Depot gave some good ideas, the proposed cost and timeframe of the project were much better with Midwest. In any project as big as this, there are going to be a few setbacks, but working with Midwest was a joy, and the ability to reach out to someone local to get answers to questions or to discuss a change or a new paint color were easy. I have referred Midwest to others and will continue to do so.

When our furnace gave out and we called Midwest Roofing & Furnace to come out and take a look at it. The furnace was over 20 years old and had to be replaced since parts where not made for it anymore. It was in December of last year and it was getting cold out. They came out right away and within a day we had a new furnace installed. Our house was now warm and the furnace was efficient too. They were so nice to deal with and the guys that installed the furnace were very professional. Not to mention the price was better than what we expected it to be. Thank you Midwest Roofing & Furnace.

Ive dealt with Midwest several times over the years, from roofing/gutters on my 2-story home to installing high efficiency central air in our existing furnace, and later replacing the old furnace after it was destroyed by a 22-inch deep basement flood. The high efficiency units they have installed will save us a ton of money in the future. All the work they have done for me has been quick, courteous, and very professional. No muss, no fuss, and perfect results.

Just my luck! Coldest day of the year a couple of weeks ago (January 8, 2015) and the furnace of almost 25 years goes out! Contacted the owner of Midwest in a panic and given the large number of service calls and inventory shortages, I was initially concerned. Received a call that they found the furnace I wanted, and it was installed the very next day with new and more efficient heat! Thanks to Terry Hoover and his crew for prompt service!

When it comes to household repairs or remodels, its always burdensome. Midwest will take care of you! Friendly customer service, quality, great pricing, knowledgeable; those are my experiences with Midwest. Having used them several times for various repairs, I can attest to the quality of their work. If you want it done right, and you want peace of mind, call Midwest!! I recommend them and wouldnt call anyone else!

Called this place to schedule an appt, as they were listed by Bryant systems as a service location. They said they woule be here the next day. WE had to ask what time they were coming, as they hung up before giving us a time. They told us 12pm. I called at 12:30 as no one showed up. Was told person would be here within an hour. 2 hours later, I never received one phone call, and no one showed up.

We had a new roof and gutters installed on our home and detached garage in Victorian Village and Midwest did a fantastic job! From the first visit to the quotation to the final followup after the job was done, they were professional and courteous. In addition, repair work on HVAC systems in a number of our rental properties was easy to schedule, expedited, and completed with no hassles.
