I stopped by on my lunch today because of how close it was to where I work. Have never been here before but had high hopes based on the two previous reviews. Those most have been UNIQUE experiences. I arrived and told them I was hearing a stange issue with my engine, and asked if someone could take a quick look. The guy told me all three of his techs were busy on jobs and I would have to leave it there. And this is coming from the guy who was clearly a tech judging from the grease on his hands and he must have been the manager since he called the techs "his". I said sorry, i dont have time to wait and im sorry you dont have 5 minutes to spare. I took my car down to refugee to the Midas there (where it has been a positive experience each visit) and they happily looked at it right then and figured it out as being the Tenchioner on the engine. I made an appt. there and will continuing to give them my business.

We took our car here for a diagnostic because the reviews were good. The employee I dealt with was friendly, but when he started listing all the things wrong with our truck I about passed out. The price I was quoted was even worse. We got a battery put in, which was a ridiculous price, and went on our way. When I told the price to a mechanic friend, he was shocked and said that quote was way too high. We took our truck for a 2nd opinion and was told many of the things Tiltons found wrong were not wrong. By the way, that battery we bought from them is now completely dead....we bought it a month ago. Not the greatest experience.

Best mechanics ever, very honest, very reliable. Ive had a bit of work done on an old car of mine and have always been happy with the honest provided by the crew at Tiltons. Most of the time when you call, the owner is the guy who answers the phone, I really appreciate that a ton. Also they will check out a car you are thinking about buying for free, very useful if you are looking for a used car to buy.

I have been here three times and everytime I bring my vehical they give me honest and great repairs. One time I brought it in, took the bus to class, and as soon as I got out the phone rang and my car was ready. Great Shop.

Reliable place for advice and troubleshooting nagging issues. They also do a free used car inspection to help you make a good purchase. Glad we have such a great shop near by! Dennis has been outstanding to work with.
