As a former employee of the Harrison Meineke I would caution any current or future customers about choosing to have their vehicles serviced at this location. Meineke in general has some great repair shops however the owner of this particular franchise has some very questionable business practices. I have witnessed on several occasions customers, especially women, taken advantage of due to their lack of knowledge in the automotive repair field. Once while I was performing and oil change on a customer vehicle I was told to only remove enough oil so that when the new oil was added you could not tell a difference in the color of the oil. During that same oil change i was told that if the vehicle had the same brand oil filter as what they was stocked then to just wipe down the filter with a rag to make it appear new. Also I have often witnessed the manager and the main tech exchanging and smoking drugs in the back of the shop. The owner, Kyle, does not run background checks or drug test any of his employees and I dont believe any of the employees would pass. Finally, I was asked to take a vehicle around the block for a test drive and to make sure that when i returned there was a problem with the vehicle. That is when I packed up my tools and quit. I was only employed at this location for just over two days and these are just a few of the horrible things I witnessed. I have decided to get the word out about the Harrison Meineke repair shop in hopes that I can help people avoid losing their hard earned money and save them from the scams and dishonest, faulty repairs this so called repair shop provides.

I would give them 0 stars if I coud. They completely ripped me off. Worse, they caused long term damage to my Jeep. I took it in for a exhaust leak, oil change, wheel balance, and air conditioning repair prior to my move to Colorado. They told me that they replaced the exhaust manifold gasket. Not only did they not change the gasket, but they broke off bolts trying to tighten it and replaced them with the wrong type (Chrysler makes special bolts and they cost all of $3 each). The bolt and washers (it wasnt supposed to use washers) came loose and caused the exhaust manifold to crack. Now I am looking at replacing it. Big bucks. They charged me for balancing the tires, but they never did it! The air conditioner lasted a week. I guess they go the oil change right. For all of this I paid nearly $800. Now I am paying more to fix the damage they did. Stay away from these people. They are vultures. They WILL rip you off. If I still lived in Ohio I would surely confront them.

Kyle Bray, who is the owner of this Meineke location, is one of THE MOST honest, dependable, trustworthy, men that I have ever met in my life. My wife and I take both of our cars (08 Suburban & 07 Audi A8L) to them and have NEVER been cheated, disappointed or not taken care of. I live in the West Chester area and drive past a number of Meinekes and other car shops just to take our vehicles all the way out to them in Harrison, OH. I make that long drive because they are full of integrity. I HIGHLY recommend this car shop to anyone.

The guy who works there at the front desk and answers the phones as of Jan/Feb 2012, not sure his name, but he seems like a real sleeze. He tried to give me the line that for the advertised 16.99 oil change(22+ bucks total really) he wasnt making any money. Yeah right. I just chose to do the oil change myself because I do not trust auto repair shops unless I personally know the mechanic. Sadly, most of them will take you and your wallet for a ride in a heartbeat. They dont care about you, or the car. They love those profits!!!

My husband and I have been going to this location for a few years now. All oil changes but they have been honest enough to let us know of a problem that could be avoided in the near future. They have treated us with respect and being a woman they have not tried to screw me over like a few mechanics have in the past. Will keep going back. The other thing I really like is the location. Perfect for us. You guys rock!

Ive always taken my car to this location to see whats wrong with it, and theyve never taken advantage of me. As a female, I have a tendency to get anything car related double checked, as it seems to be this industrys tactic to take advantage of those less knowledgeable. They have never steered me wrong, or lied about how bad a situation was. Their prices arent outrageous, and the customer service is pretty good!

To the guy that wrote review 2 years ago & worked there 2 days. You witnessed alot in just 2 days?? My question is, Did you do any work while there for 2 days since you witnessed so much?? I have know the owner for 30+ years & never, I repeat never would he do any of these things you have accused him of!! Lies will get you know where!! Grow up!!:/

Horrible customer service. Stopped in to ask if they had time to look at my exhaust and give me a quote to fix it and was answered with a sarcastic "nope". Will not return and will not recommend this shop to anybody. Good luck staying in business with that employee attitude.

I have always had excellent service at this Meineke. The manager, Kyle, made sure I was 100% satisfied with my new exhaust system. I service all of our vehicles at this location and never get pressured to buy extra services or unnecessary repairs. Highly recommended.

Very good auto service...friendly staff...they beat everyone I called in price for a turbo muffler...installation was good and I got a lifetime warranty to boot...I rate them a 10 over all

I took my car in to have AC recharged. The AC lasted a week. When i went back they would not fix the issue. They wanted to charge me for the whole process again.
