First off- Im a female. I had Michel Tire put my tires on about a year ago, and have been going there for my oil change since then so that I can also do a free tire rotation. The first time I got my oil changed, after waiting two hours I got my keys and asked if they did the tire rotation. They said they "forgot." I didnt have time to wait. Two hours and didnt have time to rotate my tires. They also pulled the dirty air filter trick, it didnt work on me. I went back yesterday for an oil change/tire rotation. This time I marked a tire. They called me about an hour after I dropped it off and said that I needed an air filter, my battery was bad and pumping out low amps, and that I had a brake light out and they could just take care of all of that for me. I said " No thanks." Now, my air filter could be dirty, but I can clean that. Secondly, my battery is only EIGHT MONTHS old ( I made a point to tell them that.) Thirdly, I DONT have a break light out. When I went to pick my car up the guy who called me rang me out and was very short with me, I asked him " So how dirty was my oil?" ( I was overdue) He said he had no idea. How could he have no idea if my oil was dirty but he knew my "battery was bad, air filter was dirty, and brake light was out". He then had the nerve to hand me an estimate for all of the "problems" I had with my car. And told me to "Be safe" as I was walking out. That made me uneasy. Long story short I will not be going back unless for a tire rotation, and for that I have to even mark a tire to make sure they do it! Unfortunately females especially beware of this place they will try and get you, if you go I would have a man drop it off, because they have never done this to any of my male friends or family.

This place is a complete sham. Had a leaking rear brake cylinder on my way home for the holidays and managed to pull in here after taking the tire and brake drum off to confirm that was indeed the problem. I dropped off my car and was called later that night with the biggest load of lies Ive ever heard. I was told that due to the inspection that was performed ($20), I needed a new brake cylinder and spring kit on the problematic side (which I agree needed fixed), along with this I was told that the opposite side was also "leaking in the cylinder boot" (lies) and would need replaced (unnecessary), along with a rebuild kit for that side (also unnecessary). He then tried to tell me that my brake shoes were totally worn down and needed replaced, which I know for a fact they were not, because I changed them myself a few months prior!!!! He then tried to counter and say "well uh they have oil on them so we will have to change both sides." I tried to say I only wanted the spring kit and brake cylinder on the leaking side, but the manager fed me a line that the shop "had a policy" that they either did it right or did no work at all. Since I was 300 miles away from home with only a few tools, I decided to let these scam artists rob me out of nearly $600 for something that should have cost a couple hundred tops. A little over $200 for parts, half of which I didnt need, and over $300 in labor on a job I could have done myself in a few hours!!!!! I understand a shop has to make some money, but this was ridiculous. Please, even if you break down away from home, dont let Michel Tires Plus rob you blind.

Did a 150 pt inspection for 20 bucks, which sounds like it covers alot, but it doesnt. They came back after their inspection and told me the following was wrong with my car: needed new front and rear struts(I agree). No oil on the dipstick(WRONG! I looked at immediately after and there was oil on it!!). Also said the transmission pan was leaking. I detected no leaks before or after I took the car to Michel Tires. I have propped it on a friends jack and THOROUGHLY inspected it myself and there are NO LEAKS of any kind. They tried to defraud me out of my hard earned money. I looked at their estimate and laughed. I did the rear struts myself for 200 bucks in all. They wanted to charge $200+ alone just to remove the rear struts. The estimate was insane and their assesment was false. As jordan20 says, THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. while I was there waiting I talked to this old guy in the waiting area(awesome 5 channel satellite TV!!). He was telling me he brought his car to them and they told him there were $1300 in repairs to be done. I really doubt that guys car needed all that work. Get your auto parts cheap on ebay, or autozone, or a junkyard(upull n pay) and install most of the parts yourself. Only place I guess I would trust in Harrison to repair my car honestly is C and C Tire next to Backs.

I have been going to the Harrison location for 3 years and been very please with the service and customer care. This week, I was provided with excellent service at your garage, and I truly appreciate it. My past experiences with other car services, I can tell you that the prospect of having to spend hundreds of dollars, according to estimates Id received elsewhere, was a dim one. Thankfully, I decided to opt for one more professional opinion before having my car repaired. Your store manager and all the customer service members are extremely courteous and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable by detail explanation of any issues with your vehicle. I am highly pleased with the professional manner in which your mechanics serviced my automobile. You have definitely gained a loyal customer who will refer all of his friends to Michel Tires Plus in Harrison, OH.

Had a slow leak in my tire, which I bought from Michael tires less than 2 years ago. I barely made it to the location in Harrison, Ohio at about 5:45p. They close at 7, and as far as I can tell, there is one person waiting and they are in the middle of her oil change. Guy looks at my tire, confirms it is definitely flat, then had me pull around so he can put air in it. After, he looks at Mr like ishould leave, so I ask him if hes going to patch it. He says he cant tonight because theres only one guy after 5. He doesnt seem to care that Im going to wake up with a flat tire when I need to go to work in the morning! Terrible customer service, and really just a lack of human decency. If I get stuck somewhere or have any type of accident because of this tire, Im holding Michael Tires responsible.

I was totally and completely impressed by my service yesterday at Michael Tires Plus. Every single team member who spoke to me polite and helpful, management seemed efficient but easygoing, and the overall atmosphere was positive and enjoyable. I purchased 2 tires and was happy with the price. The services was swift, and I was able to make it to all of my Sunday engagements. Im a young woman and sometimes at car repair places I feel as though the staff tries to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. The opposite happened at Michael Tire. I felt like the staff at Michael Tire took great care of me and my vehicle, and theyre open on Sunday! The team that worked yesterday gained Michael Tire a lifelong customer. Good work guys.
