I decided to go into this salon after seeing it on the street while i was driving home from work, I was intrigued it looked like a nice salon; however i was completely wrong. I had my eyebrows waxed by Sonya Mitchell, and she butchered my eyebrows. I walked in with eyebrows and walked out with none.. I had shared my concern with her about how it looked and how she clearly took too much off but she kept combing them with the brow brush as if it would make a difference. I told her there is no hair to cover up the lack of eye brow and un evenness.. She then proceeded to charge me for the service. It took the receptionist to pull her aside for her to realize she had completely ruined my eye brows. The receptionist sympathized with me and saw that Sonya was just trying to cover up her mess up. I wouldnt recommend this salon to anyone of my friends in the area. Sonya needs more training on waxing, i have never in my life had such an issue but now i know better. So for now i have to rely on coloring in my eyebrows till it hopefully grows back. The receptionist was awesome, but Sonya was terrible.

Ive only been to this salon twice and I got my hair done by two different stylists. I was pleased both times. I got a short hair cut, a rinse, and style. Both stylist did a good job of doing my hair how I wanted it (and I can be honest I am somewhat picky). Im not sure how good this salon is as far as hair care/treatment goes because I havent had any suggestions from either stylist on what is good for my hair, but that doesnt mean they dont have any knowledge about it...I guess Im just used to it being discussed by previous stylists that Ive gone to. In addition, I must say that they must be doing something right because both times Ive gone there Ive seen plenty of customers there with a head full of healthy looking hair. It wasnt like your average "black" salon where you see majority of women with damaged, over-processed hair and they try to act like it doesnt exist by covering it up with some type of sew-in, glue in, or quick weave (Im just saying)! I like this place and the customer service was good as well. Also, Sonyas hands are magical when she washes hair!!!!!!

I had never visited this salon before and my hair done by a young child named "Co-Co". First, she was over 40 minutes late for my appointment. I didnt know who was who because when she finally did arrive because she didnt introduce herself. Next, I asked her to place the bonded in hair on a stocking cap, and she smacked her teeth and said, "Clients are supposed to provide those". After fumbling through a junky drawer, she retrieved a cap. Lastly, I asked "coco" not to place the extensions close to the edge of my hair and the retarded girl did it any way. I am upset because that will pull out the hair around my face and I asked her not to. That same night, the first weft of hair she bonded in, came out. The next day, another weft of hair came out. I ended up just taking all of the hair out and yes, my edges look thin thanks to "COCO" not giving me what I asked for. I will never make the mistake of going back to her ever again. I should have left when she didnt arrive on time. Smh.

I had a 230 appointment in which I was promptly on time. I wasnt offered any beverage .. I came to get a very overpriced Pronto for $90 I have no problem paying for quality customer service and a good hair do however the young lady Rickea decided beyond better judgement it was appropriate to put her perm in while I was under the dryer and to make matters worse she was taking phone calls and texting here and there when she was supposed to be doing my hair. What couldve took an hour took her 3. She does OK work but... I will not be returning. Very unprofessionally facility.
