We rented a unit, and put in some shelving, nothing special, just basic stuff. The unit was paid through 2 months. We had forgotten to bring a lock, and so came back the next day. Shelves were gone. The guy working there said "oh yeah, well, we saw there was no lock, so we figured you were moving out. We took them, I gave some to my buddies." When we asked "why didnt we get a call? The unit is paid up for 2 months." they said that they "just forgot... sorry." I would have understood if a thief got in, there would be no blame there, but it was the people working there. If you rent here, just dont store anything valuable and keep a close eye on your stuff. The only good thing is that they gave us one free month and a 10% discount... it still doesnt come up to half of what we paid for the shelves, but they made some attempt to fix it.

I would give Advantage Self Storage five stars but their payment plan is ridiculous. Every Month I either have to call in by phone, first calling and leaving a message so the owner can call me back, then giving them my payment info every month, or I have to stop in myself and pay them. The times I have gone in to pay in person, no one is there. In this day and age, it is frustrating that they dont have an option where payment can be drafted out of my checking account every Month. The facility is nice and the staff is friendly, when I talk to them, but this little annoyance is a major turn off.

I have rented a unit from here for years and have been nothing but completely pleased with my experience. From how clean the lockers and lot is to the management being very friendly and always greeting me. I would recommend advantage self storage to anyone who needed a safe place to keep their belongings. There are not many places to have a 24 hour security living on site. Everyone there is very helpful and I can sleep well knowing my belongings are safe. If someone told me they ever had a bad experience here I would believe it. Advantage self storage is awesome!

They have several payment options including online and its no charge. Climate controlled units, very clean, very secure with passcoded gate entry with late night access at a reasonable price. They even have a moving truck you can rent Very cheaply! Only complaints are avoid late fees theyre very high I think 30$ and the lot isnt level (steep inclines and sideways hills making it difficult to navigate with snow or ice) but black topped. I currently rent the smallest unit its lighted and 5x10 for around $55. I highly recommend them!

I was in need for a unit while in between homes and the staff at this Miamisburg location have been over the top exceptional to me during my rental time! I highly recommend this company the units are clean and the prices are the best when compared to the area! Thank you all at advantage self storage in miamisburg for a great experience!
