Custom auto body does not honor their guarantee and with their poor workmanship you will definitely need it. I had new bumpers put on my car by custom auto body. The paint was uneven, the entire car was covered in overspray, and the paint on both bumpers began to crack. After visiting a couple competing body shops and speaking with the owner Lance at length about it, he refused to acknowledge the problem. He than brought his own employee out who indicated that the paint was cracking due to poor prep prior to painting. Further inspection reveals stripped screws, cross-threaded bolts, and poor install techniques. Discussions with Lance deteriorated into him accusing me of trying to "blackball" him and him refusing to answer questions. He had the audacity to ask me to pay to fix the car in his shop. Lance still refuses to fix the problem and the damage will cost an estimated $1200 to fix properly. I am not alone in my experience, ask around before getting your work done. In contrast, I have had work done by North Canton Collision which had a beautiful paint match and factory quality work.

People at this body are very friendly and customer focused. The lady at the desk is very pleasant and helpful. As for the work from the shop; not what I expected. Had to take my car back for buffing after seeing paint build up on where the door and fender meet. Not sure how they did that. Paint had dust specs in several places. Edge of rear door had some sort of white hard build up on it that looked very bad. Car had overspray on windows and other parts of the car. They did try to fix some of the areas but Im not sure why that would return a one year old car in that condition. I am turning the car back in from my lease and hope its acceptable. I cannot recommend this shop if you own or plan on keeping your car.

Lance and his staff provide top notch service,quality repairs and handle everything with insurance company and rental car companies. From hail and paintless dent repair to minor fender benders to major collisions involving air bag deployment they have consistently made accurate,quality repairs to all the vehicles i have taken to them. I will continue to recommend custom auto body to family and friends. ive brought my vehicles from akron down to n. canton just because of the level of service i have recieved.
