I called 2 roofing companies to look at my attic fan which quit working. Muth was the first to come out. After inspecting my roof from the outside, they gave me an estimate of $300 to replace the fan, with me providing the fan and shingles. A few other extra things like gutter clean up were included. I agreed to have it done and gave them a 50% deposit which they said was standard. The second company came out and the first thing they said was I did not need an attic fan at all because my roof has ridge and soffit vents. They went up to my attic to confirm they were unblocked. Because of this conflicting advice, I asked a contractor friend and my architect neighbor and researched the internet and sure enough, this 2nd companys was correct: youre not supposed to mix different types of roof ventilation, i.e. either have the fan or have the ridge/soffit vents, not both. Muths quote was based on a bad premise. Even though I asked about replacing the attic fan, they should have known better and advised me otherwise just like this other company did. Having lost confidence in them, I called Muth to cancel the work order and ask for a refund of my deposit. However, they refused to give me a full refund. They want to charge me a cancellation fee(!) because of "expenses we incurred." Im not sure what those expenses would be since the estimate was supposed to be free and they have not even scheduled the actual work yet. The guy that came out that day told me that someone from Muth would call me within 2-3 days to schedule the work but I did not hear from them until about 2 weeks after. Muth says their guy noted on his estimate that he did not agree with replacing the fan even though thats what he quoted me. This is a complete lie and I have a copy of the estimate to prove it. He never said anything about it to me. He didnt even go to my attic. He also didnt mention about a cancellation fee (Muth says its in the contract which their guy emailed me after he left). Stay away from this company. They are incompetent and they lie!

I have been very impressed by the service provided by Muth & Company Roofing Inc and especially sales rep Jeremy Cherteiny. My house sustained significant damage to the roof and siding during a severe storm in early June. The products and services provided by Muth & Company are superior. In addition to completing the contracted repairs (full roof replacement and vinyl siding installation), Muth & Company coordinated with my insurance company throughout the process. Jeremy even came out to my house on his day off (July 5th) to be onsite when the insurance adjuster came to inspect the damages. During the same period, I had contracted with a painting company to paint the trim on my house. The painting was completed a week after the roof installation was complete. The painting contractor inadvertently damaged several shingles on my newly installed roof. Muth & Company quickly repaired the damaged shingles for a minimal fee. I would recommend Muth & Company Roofing Inc to anyone in need of roofing services. Great company with a friendly caring staff.

Bruce from Muth & Company just made a service call to my house to investigate a sudden leak in my roof. He was very professional and and very friendly. He took the time to explain what the problem might be. Bruce quickly found the leak which was due to deteriorated calking around the heating vent. He fixed the leak and so far it was a great experience, but I was prepared to hear a big dollar amount. Well things got even better, there was no charge. I couldnt believe it. Bruce told me that because I had Muth install my roof 5+ years ago, there was no charge. I was already a pleased customer because of the new roof, but I am even more pleased now. I would definitely recommend Muth Roofing.

We called around for a few estimates and Jeremy came out quickly and provided an honest assessment as well as explaining a plan to handle future roofing needs. A few days later our roofing issue was completed and Jeremy & John (?) provided me with even more education on roofs and ventilation. From the sales people to the roofers, everyone was incredibly polite and the job was done on time, and completely to our satisfaction. Kelly handled everything from the original home visit, pricing and estimates, and even dealt with our insurance company. My moms roof was also handled with the utmost care. We never worried about her dealing with this company, she felt completely comfortable with everyone from Muth. Muth & Company Roofing replaced the roof on my house in April 2013. The Estimator, Salesperson & Installation Crew were all professional and pleasant to work with. I was really impressed with the care and attention to detail they gave to my property. Besides being cautious while while they worked on the roof, they protected the plantings around the house with covers and when they were done the crew inspected my yard and street for nails or anything that could be damaging to a kid, pet or car tire. If you need a roof replaced or repaired I recommend Muth & Company.

Muth and Company performed what they call an Extended Service Plan for me. They cleaned out my gutters, sealed everything up so I dont get any leaks, and gave me peace of mind that my roof is in good shape for another year. It was affordable, everyone was friendly and professional, and they cleaned up their mess and hauled it away when they were done. More companies should make having work done this easy! I highly recommend using them for all of your roofing needs.
