Professional!! This was the second time in the past few months I have used Moving Ahead Services and I couldnt be happier. Earlier this year they moved part of our furniture into our new home, so we could stage our old home to sell. They did a very good job and we felt very happy with the amount of care they took with our belongings. They worked very quickly and were very polite and respectful. We put our old home on the market, it sold in six days and the buyers wanted us to move out as soon as possible. When I called Moving Ahead Services to schedule the second part of the move on short notice, they were already booked. I was forced to go with another moving company and the differences in the two companies was unbelievable! The other company was very unprofessional. They were not careful with our belongings, complained about having to work so hard, took frequent breaks and played loud music when they were moving our furniture into our new house. This direct comparison made me fully aware of how much better the experience was with Moving Ahead Services. Devin and Alex were not only polite and strong, but they were also very smart. They were able to quickly determine the best way to move some very difficult pieces through some tight spaces. You really get a lot for your money because these guys work fast and they work smart. Moving can be very stressful and this company made the move very easy.

Moving Ahead deserves way, way more than 5 stars.....from start to finish, from all back office support staff, admin folks, our packing crew & our moving crew - each & all perfection in doing what needed to be done....the cost of the local move was a bargain for what all was provided.....Ive encouraged President Jeff Collins to raise his pricing / quotes.....elite movers like Moving Ahead are certainly worth paying a premium for....they provided a seamless, flawless, stress-free move for which Im very, very grateful...The prep work (packing) and the care in moving was all exceptional.....except for a short lunch break, both crews (packing & moving) barely ever slowed down.....weve unpacked all "critical" / fragile boxes already in the past couple days - not a speck of damage occurred with anything....no new scratching or dents on any furniture pieces either.....My recommendation to use them will be passed on whenever the opportunity presents itself.....so bottom line, our experience with Moving Ahead - STELLAR....highly, highly recommended....these guys all truly know their jobs, are true professionals & ROCK !!!......a very happy customer.....would absolutely use again whenever our next move might occur

I used Moving Ahead Services for a recent long distance move. In the process of the move, my guitar went missing. Although it took about a month, Moving Ahead Services eventually resolved this problem and cut me a check for the $360 valuation of my guitar. I recommend that future customers make sure they go over the inventory at the unload location and check through all their belongings to verify that everything is there. I did not see the inventory and did not discover that the item was missing until after the movers left which made everything harder on myself as well as on the company. Also, I recommend future customers to be present at the load site. Moving Ahead Services believed there would be no issues if I were not present but this is where I believe the item went missing. I would have saved myself a lot of strife had I insisted on a move date which my schedule would allow me to be present. All and all, I am thrilled to receive the money but wish that the process of resolving the missing item could have gone smoother.

I hired Moving Ahead Services to move a large safe into my finished basement. The sales team was very responsive and friendly and worked with me to get the job done at an affordable cost to me and at a time that fit my schedule. I had doubts as to whether the safe would fit down the stairway into my basement (without damage), considering the size and weight of the safe and the 180 degree turn it had to make to get down to the basement. The Moving Ahead Services Team showed up right on time and handled it perfectly. I watched in disbelief as they maneuvered it down the steps without even touching a wall. They were very courteous and professional and worked very well together. This is the first time I have hired a moving company for anything, and I was a little nervous about how it would go, and who would show up at my house. I am very happy with my choice, and will recommend this company to my friends and family (and will certainly call them with my future moving needs).

From the first time I contacted Moving Ahead services for my move, I was impressed with how professional every experience was with them. I was given accurate information from the beginning as well as what to expect when my moving day arrived. The entire crew was amazing and definately experienced movers. I have dealt with a few moving companies in the past and was contemplating NOT hiring a moving company based on my past experience. I was completely 100% impressed with the movers not only in how careful they all were with belongings, but also how friendly they all were. My 8 year old wanted to invite them back the next day for pizza - that says a lot to me about the character of the workers! My family was here on moving day and were just as impressed with this company as I was. I will definately use them for my next move and will encourage friends/ family to hire them as well!!! Moving Ahead Services made a very stressfull day a breeze! I can not thank them enough!!!!!

I used Moving Ahead Services, LLC for a piano move. It was a very old console piano (1967) donated to us by a school. Many people try to move smaller pianos on their own with a few strong people and a pickup, but piano soundboards are encased in wood frames and if they crack, you can lose the piano (or at least have a costly repair). I called 3 well reviewed professional piano movers in the Cleveland market, and Moving Ahead Services gave the best quote by a fair margin (about 25% below next closest bid). On the move morning, they had an issue with their truck, but they promptly called me about the delay, their new ETA, and kept everything on pace. Very professional team, yet friendly and conversational. The distance of the move was not far, but the security in moving an old fragile piano is well worth hiring these guys. I would use Moving Ahead Services again for any piano or residential move.

The guys that came to move us were so professional and so quick! I didnt know what to expect since we have never used movers before so I assumed they would just move all big stuff but no they took everything that was packed and even some stuff that wasnt. They were very professional and prompt. We lived in a 4th floor walk up and I never heard them once complain about steps. We had a lot of stuff for living in a one bedroom apartment so once they realized that it would take longer than our allotted time they asked if I preferred them working longer or bringing in more movers. They then took the time to explain the extra cost for each option. They were prompt and quick and if we ever move again, I know who we will be calling. Also, we had issues with out closing date. The seller kept changing it and they were willing to reschedule twice for us without any complaint!
