I came here to get my breaks changed and they tacked on a few 50,000 mile flushes I needed for my car. I was quoted 1,200 for my car, the breaks and a couple other things plus the flushes. I thought it might be high but had a busy schedule and couldnt find anywhere else. We figured they did good work, however, my gf brought in her car and which she explained the problem to them and immediately they said they knew the problem. They didnt, which was fine, because then they said they figured it out. Great! So, they fixed the vehicle and said they had three different technicians drive it and saw no problem. Great! Wrong, when she received the vehicle back, the problem was still there plus it seemed a bit worse and to top it off, they didnt even shut the hood all the way. They sounded a bit rude from what I understand, like you need to be a guy to get good service, at least thats what it sounded like. The owner was the only decent guy Ive met there and possibly one other, but she spent $450 on a problem which now seems worse. Ive heard Midas is better and cheaper. EDIT: Talked to owner, got my gfs car back in and they did the rest of the work for a better price to compensate. He was very nice. Although, the work they did didnt fix the problem and they couldnt find a fix for it. They tried. Probably a Ford problem, dont buy a Ford escape. P.s. If you get talked down to or are rude to, there is one particular guy there that sucks at life, but dont turn them away because of him. Karma will catch up to him one day and he will reap what he sews.

I am disappointed at how my college age daughter was treated when she came in for a diagnostic and repair of her 2007 car. My father and husband are automotive technicians (more than 50 years experience between them). She had a engine light come on and took the car to be scanned at Autozone. The code shown was one both my father and my husband are familiar with. The book time is less than 1 hour to repair and the cost of the part is $100. We expected a quote around $300-$400 dollars and instead got one for $1700. We live a long ways from her college, and hoped she would find a honest and transparent garage to help her. Instead, her grandfather will repair her car for her and she will seek another garage. She had a good experience here before with an oil change, which is why she tried again. Too bad, would have been nice to know she had somewhere to go if she needed repairs. As the wife and daughter of mechanics, this is unacceptable!

Brought my Infiniti in for a parasitic battery drain. Agreed with Shane that I should be notified at $400 shop time if their tech could not resolve it. He could not resolve it, and Shane was apologetic as I paid and left. This was after a wait of several more days, as the tech had gone home sick, leaving the wiring undone. The tech had also left the wiper module, AC module, and the rear backup camera detached. Dug up an old electronics book and proceeded to correctly diagnose the drain- my total time= less than 10 minutes. It was obvious from the techs notes on the invoice, he didnt know what he was doing. Called Shane, informed him of my findings, & offered to show their tech the correct way to diagnose in exchange for a refund or equivalent services actually performed. Did not hear back, and dont expect to. I will not be returning.

My go-to place for automotive service in Norman. The oil changes are comparably priced to others but their service is top notch. Any issues found are explained clearly and without condescension. They are honest about whats really necessary, what can wait a few months, and what is just manufacturers suggested maintenance. I trust them with my cars and know theyll get the job done right! The lobby is very comfortable and has free Wi-Fi if you choose to wait. They also have a courtesy car to get you to home or work in Norman if the service will take a few hours. Overall, I am pleased with every experience Ive had at Christian Brothers in Norman. They keep my older used cars running in top condition!

Everything. I knew of the reputation from Dallas. But when we found ourselves on our early morning long drive to Colorado with brakes going out and yelp listed the closest repair shops and Christian Brothers was on the list, the decision was made. It was also helpful that it was close to the highway and opened earlier than other shops (7 am). The owner welcomed us graciously at 6:45 and immediately got working for us, understanding the situation. The waiting room became a living room for our family of 6. He even lent us the company truck to make a short drive for breakfast. It was by far the most memorable, comfortable, and friendly road-trip repair for our family. Thanks so much! - Keith Hileman

Beware. My family was treated poorly. Shanes a nice talker but did not tell us the truth. We came in for a repair because my wifes car would jolt while driving. We were quoted $700 to fix the problem. Also, we were told we needed to have the breaks repaired for $1200. Very expensive, but he said it was unsafe to drive out. With three children under 6, we reluctantly agreed. Within 5 minutes of getting the car back (after the $2000+ bill), the car started to jolt again! Called and even went back. Shane claimed he did not know about the car jolting - the very reason we went there. In fact, they wanted yet another $700 to do what Id been asking for all along. Obviously, we are going elsewhere.

This by far the best mechanic I have been to yet! I have a lot of knowledge on cars myself but my career takes up so much time it has left me with no time to put into my 2001 Firebird. I love my car so I typically dont trust anyone with my car. However, this mechanic not only has the upmost integrity in their work but they are crazy fast and they are able to accurately diagnose issues that other mechanics incorrectly diagnosed! They will also give you a ride home so you dont have to wait at the shop! They are clean, reliable, and do outstanding work! I will continue to take my cars to this business! I highly recommend this specific business in Norman!

Lovely staff, very helpful, fixed my passenger side lower control arm for half the price I paid elsewhere for the other side just a month prior. They also allowed me to break up my payments into four post-dated checks, which was helpful. Im giving a 4/5 because nobody noticed the bent wheel rim, which wound up being the main cause of the severe shake. I had taken it to Discount Tire the day before to have them check for that specifically, and they didnt find it either, though, until my husband took it back again a few days after that. Luckily, I had a spare. I have two brand new lower control arms and a good rim again, so no shaking anymore.

I had a great experience at Christian brothers. No other mechanic shop could make an appointment to check out a used vehicle I was purchasing, and I was pleasantly surprised at how these guys treated me. The lobby was clean and I was also impressed to see a bible verse and bible on the table, (for me being a believer it was nice seeing that not everyone has given up in following Gods word, and having morals and standards) Could just be out there to put on a show but I really appreciated it. The guys were helpful and concerned with making sure my pre purchase inspection left me feeling confident that I was receiving a quality vehicle.
