It is rare to come across a business that exudes honesty and commitment to their customers. I came to TMA with an exhaust problem on my 2004 Expedition. I thought that the tail pipe had come off the muffler. I arrived for my appointment a few minutes ahead of schedule and they brought my vehicle in right away. Within minutes, the exhaust expert had found the problem. I needed a new exhaust. I was asked to come and look at the problem, they showed me what was wrong and suggested a reasonable solution to my problem. I was quoted a price and within 15 minutes, my exhaust was fixed and the bill was actually less than what was quoted! Having dealt with other "professional" businesses in the past and usually getting burned, it was refreshing to actually find a business with old fashioned business ethics, friendly staff and true to their word! I read the previous review and to be totally honest, everything that was said about this business was nothing but a total contradiction! My wife was very impressed with these folks and THAT is a very hard thing for any business to do! If your looking for a business that will save you time and money, has many options to fit your needs and you will be guided to what YOU want, not what they want to sell you, then TMA is the business for you! They earned my respect and they have also earned a customer! Thanks TMA for taking care of our needs and for your honesty!!!

Dont go to TMA in Yankton if its not absolutely necessary. We went there to get our brakes checked. On their website they advertise free break checks, yet they still tried charging me. On the way home we noticed a squeaking noise while braking that was not there before. We took it back there and they rotated one of the rear drums. The next day we noticed shaking when we braked. We took it back there and they told us it was because our front rotors were warped (which we knew already) and because the rear drum was warped (which it wasn’t before we took it to TMA). So finally we took it to a different mechanic to get a second opinion. The second mechanic told us that the damage to the rear drum was caused by someone forcing the drum off, and it was not normal wear and tear. So TMA told us we had to replace the rear drums when they were the ones that actually caused the problem in the first place, and they wanted to charge us for it! We had the second mechanic replace the drum, and TMA did reimburse us for the rear drum but did not take responsibility for damaging it (though they did admit they damaged it they just said it was not their fault).

I was passing through on my way West and had a blow out. Doug and the guys got me back on the road in no time and they were really friendly about it. I would imagine there are a bunch of tire places nearby, but I definitely recommend these guys.
