As far as customer service, the staff are extremely pleasant, approachable, and knowledgeable. They were also prompt on fixing my 2008 Ford Focus upper motor mount which eliminated the intense vibrations when I pressed on the accelerator. These facts were the only reason why I rated a 2 star instead of a 1 star. I had also brought in my vehicle because the AC no longer blew air into the cabin; cold air would still come out of the vents but only when I was on the highway and air was being pushed through the air filter into the cabin. The mechanics advised me that the blower motor needed replacing after I paid for a full vehicle inspection. The part was going to cost $245.99 (whereas any auto parts store would charge $70-$115) and labor would cost $55. Upon closer inspection of my blower motor, I noticed the electric cable connected to the blower motor was not fully connected; the cable was seated in the connected but was not fully snapped into place. This gave the false illusion that everything was how it should be without the AC actually working. Yet Firestone still decided to quote me $300.99 with the diagnosis that the blower motor was not longer functioning. It begs the question of how this could be so easily overlooked without simply coming to the conclusion that all three mechanics that looked at my vehicle knew about it and instead wanted to benefit from the situation. Long story short, it was an incredibly easy fix that Firestone could have notified me of but instead wanted more of my patronage through an ultimately unnecessary service. UPDATE: Jason from Firestone in Norman gave me a call back and informed me the disconnection was intentional; I was notified the technician annotated the condition of my blower motor on my ticket, but the front desk worker failed to relay the message to me. After discussing this with Jason, I realized the issue was simply miscommunication rather than intentional sabotage. My rating will upgrade from 2 to 4 stars.

I was treated very poorly at this location. My boyfriend took my car in to get a flat changed, and he told them my car was an Outlander, which it is. As he was leaving, they told him it was actually an Endeavor, which is incorrect. When I brought my car in again, they had it listed as an Endeavor. The confusion (which was caused by them) seemed to irritate the man helping me, Jason. He asked what year the car was, and in the two seconds it took me to remember if it was 06 or 08, he snapped at me about not knowing anything about my car. I was shocked. He then asked what the mileage was, which I didnt know off the top of my head. He again snapped at me, saying "Why would you need to know anything about your car, youre just driving it, right?" He continued to belittle me while his coworker snickered in the background. I was humiliated, and will never go here again.

These guys are freaking worthless. Took my vehicle in there a few months back with a three inch hole in the timing chain cover. They had us drive the jeep over to the car wash twice to clean it off and eventually blamed it on a valve cover. Few weeks later, I started getting random multiple misfire codes, and they couldnt tell me what it was, rather, they cleaned out the fuel system and changed the spark plugs, and replaced the CPS that had recently been replaced. They gave the vehicle back unable to drive. It would stall and sputter at idle. And come to find out they installed the CPS improperly and blamed the PCM and myself (for the CPS) saying that "it checked good when we gave it back to you". If it doesnt even run, how did that check good? 1500$ later, and vehicle still doesnt run. Avoid...

Every time we come in to get new tires or just simply have our tires rotated the staff is professional and easy to talk to. Jason is the manager and he has always been honest about prices while not forcing you into buying something. He will tell you what service your vehicle is due for all the while not pressuring you into doing it. He does not scare you into doing it right now. My sister also takes her vehicle there and she is not good whatsoever about remembering to rotate her tires. I have to go with her to do that type of service. Jason does not degrade her in her poor abilities to remember service on her vehicle. He tells her the importance of proper maintenance but does not humiliate her. Excellent work. Keep it up

My daughter is at OU and needed some work done on the cooling system of her car. I sent her to Firestone to have them look at it. They did an electrical fix that ended up not taking care of the problem and actually had to be undone (easy to do). After doing a lot of work myself on my own cars over the years, Ive found that cooling problems can be surprisingly stubborn to fix so Im not that upset that the first fix didnt work. The good review here is that they were willing to refund her money for the fix after we told them it had to be undone. No one likes to be told they made a mistake but making good on it is good customer service.

They found and fixed the leak in my coolant system right away, and Jason was very patient in explaining things to me despite my asking the same questions over and over (since Im retarded when it comes to cars). Additionally, my roommate who picked me up had a stripped screw he had been trying to remove on his car, he requested help with that and two guys came out to help us with that, even though he wasnt a customer. Exceptional service all the way around, from management down to the mechanics. Will be going back for all car maintenance in the future and would highly recommend.

I was referred to this location by a co-worker. I dont live in Norman & needed work done before a road trip. I dropped off my car on a lunch break, they then had someone pick me up after work in my finished car! It was awesome. Today, I called about my tire warranty. They pulled it up, politely reminded me I was due for a rotation and gave me my info. Ill be going back on the days Im at work in Norman. Its worth the trip. They provided me with excellent customer service, where caring and stepped outside of protocol to meet my needs and have been consistant.

Austin and the rest of the staff were very helpful and kind to me today, even though I was clearly very stressed and probably not my most cheerful self. They appeared knowledgeable about what they were working on on my car, and even showed me the issues before beginning to work. I am often skeptical of auto places, as they like to charge you for as much as possible, but it seemed that Austin and the team were not doing that (and if they were, at least they were friendly). I will definitely go here again if I have problems. (and hopefully more money)

This location is the definition of exceptional customer experience! When I come here, I know I am not going to be charged for something that I dont need. The employees are quick and prompt to reply to your questions. Their turnaround time can vary depending on what needs to be done, but I have typically gotten my truck back the same day (if brought in that morning). I would highly recommend this Firestone location to people who are unsure about vehicles or uneasy about paying for something you dont need. Thanks Firestone!
