These guys are amazing. My first visit with them was to have an exhaust issue fixed. They were incredibly helpful. The second time, during the Halloween weekend rains, they really showed what it means to go to a local shop. I am about to make a trip to Colorado and needed a new set of tires. I arranged to go in the Friday of Halloween and get a set of Goodyear tires. Dave, the one Ive worked with most, offered to get me a tire that was cheaper AND rated at a higher mileage. The rating was important for me as I drive between College Station and Austin twice a week. They gave me a call to let me know that my alignment in back was significantly off and wanted to know if I wanted them to fix it. What really made me committed to these guys for my vehicle is what happened at the end of the day. They promised to make sure that they would complete all work by close or stay late trying. They called to inform me they were done and I began making my way to get my vehicle. I called them when they were supposed to be closing to let them know that we werent going to make it by the time they left. Due to the rain and flooding, Dave promised to stay so that I could have my vehicle for the weekend. No chain store would provide as much customer service and commitment as these guys do. I will also go back with our vehicles.

Someone mentioned that Lansdale Automotive service is from another era. They are right. Lansdale Automotive provides the kind of service you used to hear about from your parents. Lansdale Automotive is awesome. They are honest, and they take care of you and your car. Took my car in for AC compressor repair/replacement estimate. They caught a transmission leak from a loose clamp on the hose. They tightened it, cleaned it all up, and topped off my transmission fuel....no extra charge. They told me they will keep an eye on it to make sure it doesnt come loose again. They replaced my compressor with a new one, not a rebuilt one. Price was excellent. Dealership was going to charge me 4 times what these guys charged. Be sure to check out their website. They have specials. Check it before you go. I checked it after my service....duh! Forget about keeping Austin Weird....Keep Georgetown Special! Use Lansdale Automotive!

The one thing you look for in a company is honesty. Allan at Lansdale exemplifies that trait. I brought in my 2007 Liberty for a transmission leak. He spent hours trying to determine why it was leaking in what turned out to be overfilled transmission fluid. It perplexed him and me given that we hadnt had anyone touch the vehicle in months and the leak just started. Regardless of the time spent he was going to send me away with the min. charge. He told me about some other items that needed maintenance as well but made no effort to pressure me into getting it done. I got the work done anyway. I just recently called about another minor issue to install a wiring harness for a trailer and he actually convinced me to buy it myself, explained how to install it and told me if I run into problems to bring it by but he thinks I should be able to get it done. They have a customer for life. Thanks Allan.

The very competent, friendly, courteous and reliable staff at Lansdale Automotive has serviced not only our vehicles but also our daughters and our grand childrens on a number of occasions for a variety of automotive and mechanical problems.In each occasion, we have been very pleased with their timely response and their expertise. We have always found them to be very dependable and fair. In one very recent event, they saved us a considerable amount of money by diagnosing the problem and then informing us that the problem with our car was actually covered by an extended warranty of which we were unaware. They recommended we return the car to the dealer. We followed their recommendation and the dealer fixed this quite costly problem with no cost to us. Needless to say, we are quite pleased that Lansdale is there for us and we strongly recommend them to you.

I have used many places over the years for having work done on my vehicles. Lansdale Automotive is the first place Ive been to in all that time that made me feel I was getting a deal! I had a rather major problem with my pickup and was quoted a price of $4,700 to get it fixed. Lansdale Automotive fixed it for $1,900.00 and just so you dont think they did half a job, that was about a year ago! The other "problem" the other place told me needed fixing (for $2,800) is still going strong! These guys know cars and trucks and arent going to recommend work that doesnt need doing. Pretty cool by any standard Id say! Dan

Had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend their services! Not only are they friendly, but the guys are honest and broke down what really needed to be fixed and why it needed it. I moved here a month ago and this was the first time I had to get my car inspected on my own. I was very nervous but they made me feel right at home and I was taken care of. Dave helped me and even brought me into the shop to let me see for myself what was going on with my car.It made me feel like I could trust their opion and I left happy. Again, I would highly recommend their shop!!!

Honest and local...I took my car in for an oil change, and you can tell they are downright good people. While I waited for my oil change, I noticed the interaction between the owners/employees and their customers. It was like they picked up their conversations from the last time their car was serviced. While this was my first time at Lansdale and my maintenance was routine, Ill be back whenever my car needs ANY service. I write reviews frequently, and I rarely give such a high rating but these guys earned it, and earned my trust.

Although the shop doesnt normally work on Volkswagen Diesels, the owner was kind enough to have a look at my 2010 Sportwagen TDI, right at closing no less! Turns out my check engine light was due to a simple loose wiring harness, which his technicians reconnected and I was quickly on the road again. It was obvious from even my brief experience with Lansdale Automotive that the owners take pride in the their shop, their employees and go above and beyond for the customers.

My daughter received a +$1000 quote from another garage in Georgetown to fix her a/c. They wanted to replaced the compressor. She declined. She took it to Lansdale and they discovered that the compressor clutch bolt was MISSING! Replaced same and all is good. Mechanic said that this is a common issue with Ford a/c compressors. As an out-of-town father, it is comforting to know my daughter has a great place to take her car when necessary. (priceless!) Thank you!!!

My husband and I have been using Lansdale Automotive since we moved to Georgetown in 2002. No time is a good time for auto repairs, especially in this economy. I cant tell you how many times a dealership or someone else has told us we need something done to one of our vehicles, only to be told by Lansdale that its not necessary. Who turns down a dollar these days, much less a few hundred and then some. We trust them 100% and would never go anywhere else.
