I took my car there this morning because I was having brake trouble, and was told by another place that I needed new transmission fluid, so I was going to get an estimate on the total cost of this. I also needed an oil change. I usually get my oil changed at the same place that said I needed my transmission fluid changed...but they didnt do brakes, so I googled the place that got the best reviews. Well, they did not disappoint. Steve was extremely courteous and went out of his way to make me feel like I was the only customer in the place. He was honest, and gave me some very valuable advice about some places that charge for fluid replacement when it isnt really needed. The mechanic that worked on my car even pulled a little dent out of my bumper at no extra charge. I thought that was great. I wont be using that other place again for my oil changes. Overall, I was very impressed with the attitude, friendliness, and honesty of this place. Congrats. Youve won another customer. Oh, and I want to say thanks to Greg for his hard work pulling out the little dent when he didnt have to. Very nice. :))

My car broke down around a year ago and needed a new fuel pump. I took it to Marc Heitz first, but I called 5 or 6 auto shops in town, including Midas, after Marc Heitz quoted me a ridiculously high price. I called Midas back to inform them that I had been quoted a better price elsewhere, and the Manager was shocked in disbelief. So I took another look at the sheet I had written his quote on and realized I had misread it, and Midass quote was fully around 10% lower than the second lowest quote I received and around 30% lower than the higher quotes. Needless to say, I chose Midas for the repair, and I received excellent service. After that, I started using them for my oil changes and have continued to be very impressed. Also, my moms car broke down two weeks ago on a Saturday, and I suggested she have it towed to Midas. One of their employees stayed after their closing time to receive it, and she was very happy with their work and price.

I am very leary of car repair center because I have been taken more than once but read all the positive reviews and decided to try. Our daughters care needed brakes and she is on a tight budget. Steve and the staff are amazing. They assessed the brakes, which were gone and two rotors needed rebuilt. It ended up costing half of what I expected. I used an online coupon for the brakes and oil change. I felt confident what was done needed to be done and at a great price. Steve treated everyone like they were the only one there. Its a great feeling when you leave somewhere and feel like you were treated right and got a good deal. I would definitely use them again.

Honest brake repair job. Steve at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated his upfront information even before they started to work on my car. When he consulted with me about what my car needed, he didnt push my into an unnecessary repair. It turned out that the rear brakes needed to have the pads replaced, but the front pads were OK but for a wear spot that would cause a pulsating. His recommendation was that if I could live with the front brakes in their condition, it wasnt absolutely necessary to replace them yet. Ill definitely return for future service. PS. The shuttle service was a nice touch as the owner himself gave me a ride home.

Buyer beware! I have never had more abysmal service in my entire life. First I was quoted one price over the phone but was given another price once I showed up to pick up my car. The difference ended up being $20 more than the quoted price. The front desk guy apologized profusely and told me that he was looking out for me, but refused to come down on the price. Additionally, they tried to tell me that my brake pads were worn all the way down. I was suspicious, so I declined the service and had another mechanic look at them. They werent worn all the way down at all. The crooks at Midas knew I was a college student so they tried to take advantage of me.

Steve has always taken care of me no matter what it is. I was hesitant to try and find a place to do the work on my truck when moving but came to Midas here in Norman and have been pleased. They try and get it right the first time without telling you that everything else is wrong with your vehicle. They take me wherever I need to go while the truck is worked on and come get me when it is ready. Steve knows me by my name and sometimes even meets me at my truck. He is very honest and tells you how it is. If you are new to Norman, just passing through and need some work, or are tired of where you are going, head to Midas on Lindsey in Norman, OK.

This is THE place to go! The manager, Steve, is ridiculously kind & enthusiastic. Everyone that walks in the door is warmly greater. They take such good care of the customers & deliver on service every time. I even let my 21yo daughter take her care there without my accompanying because I know she will not be taken advantage of. The prices are much better than other shops & theyve price matched for me when needing a headlight replaced in my Lexus-- not a cheap repair! If youre disappointed for any reason, I have no doubt that Steve would address the issue & make you a customer for life. Dont let Lindsey St construction deter you--go here!

Steve, the manager, is always working and he always takes care of me. I only go to this Midas for my tune ups/oil changes/etc. He cares a lot about customer service. If you ever find a good Midas coupon, he will tell you that they never expire at his shop! I dont know about any of the other employees but I love coming to this Midas. Steve tries to make the place comfortable for everyone- like he has a fridge with drinks, and magazines for women and not just the typical car magazines most shops have. I dont know why there are so many other bad reviews... Ive been coming to this Midas for over a year and I love it!

Excellent service and, most importantly, trustworthy. I went here to get my alignment checked after being told (by Fowler Honda) that it was off and I needed to pay to have it fixed immediately. I wasnt sure they were being honest, so I had it checked at Midas (on recommendation from a friend) for free. Midas confirmed there was no problem with my car at all and that I was right about being scammed by Fowler Honda. I was in and out quickly, and had a friendly conversation while there. While I only had a limited experience here, I will certainly be going back the next time I need work done on my car.

We had several quotes, $1,100, $900, $800 (Midas Midland, Christian Brothers, Hibdon- I am rounding the quotes), but Midas Norman, OK gave us the best quote $600. They did such an amazing job and had us out of there quickly. Steve was very professional. This is the second time they have worked on our vehicles. HIGHLY recommend Midas in Norman. Also, they are so kind and nice. My son had to get his vehicle serviced on a holiday weekend and they went out of their way to work until it was finished. We drove from Edmond to Norman to get our vehicle serviced and completely worth the drive.
