Pros: -Friendly staff. -Good haircut. -They retain your preferences on file for future visits. Cons: -NO parking. None. Nearest place to park was 2.5 blocks away where the "No parking" signs stop. Unless you live on campus, almost no point in coming here. Even my existing OU parking pass did not apply anywhere nearby as they specify particular passes for particular lots. (greedy much?) -Place is very clean, but very dead. Was the only person that walked in the door for the hour+ I was there during what Ive come to expect is a busy time period for other haircut places. -No energy. There was less charisma in that place than a Supercuts nearest an assisted living facility adjacent a morgue. -Soft services not trained. Staff, not their fault, had almost no idea how to perform their optional steam towel nor the shoulder massage. Both were not relaxing, just plain awkward and uncomfortable. -Superficial, but Sports Clips is generally in my experience a salon catered to men with an energetic, fun atmosphere, easy-on-the-eyes staff with good charisma, and good conversation. None of this was true of this location. -See no reason to get an $23 haircut that inherently comes with unwanted/unexpected physical exercise. Add in that the cut is no better (or worse) than a cut at any Supercuts..and none of the usual benefit of coming to what is commonly a mens focused haircut location..there are a lot of other less tedious places nearby to receive a standard haircut for less investment of time and money. -If it were anymore obvious this place was built for OU staff/students..all theyd have to do is just name it OU Clips.

Went to the sports clips in Norman for the first time ever during the summer. The experience was pretty good. I was asked for my information and was advised that I would receive promotions. I would also receive a free upgrade on my birthday month. The 2nd time I went it took awhile to get in because one of the stylest was goofing around, other wise ok. Went back today 4/20/2017 and inquired about the birthday upgrade. I was told that I need to print out an email and bring it in. I said that I have not received an email and that I was told it would be automatic. They said not then looked in their system. Only thing was in there was my name, which is why I didnt receive an email. Then once they got my email they said that it must have been a system glitch but we will not be able to give you your free upgrade this year since it was put in this month.

They are so inconsistent. The assistant manager is great. I told her how I wanted it cut and showed her a picture, and it looked great. The haircut it got from her was well with the $18. Angel however, has no idea what shes doing. She seemed way more focused on stuff she was doing after work. She cant follow a picture, does what she wants everytime and in general missed spots. She has screwed up more than once. Avoid her at all cost.

Just moved to campus looking for a new place to get a hair cut. Amazing experience! The lady that cut my hair was super professional and friendly, most importantly gave me a great cut for a reasonable price. Also, the MVP is worth the extra few dollars!

Updated.... Initial experience was good. Since then it has been poor. Further, consistency in service or personnel is nonexistent. I have never seen the same person twice there. Quality is hit or miss. Started going elsewhere after last time.

Tried here for the first time.. read reviews and thought they will do pretty good work.. but it turned out to be a nightmare..poor skills and definitely they dont know what they are doing.. i will NEVER EVER visit this place again!!!

Manager doesnt cut hair very well. Shes an expert on hacking hair, and she gossips to you about former employees. Unprofessional services. Overpriced.
