If I could have gotten away with a" no star rating" that would be deserving. Stavros is the worst shop we have ever dealt with. 1. Took the car down for an estimate, was told to bring it back for repair the next week. 2. We were told the parts were in and brought down the vehicle for a 3 day repair. At that time another person looked at the car and said the estimate was not done correctly. Of course the estimate went up considerably. (this should have been the first red flag for us) 3. What was a suppose to be a three day repair ended up being much longer because they broke a piece of molding when installing. 4. When we went down to pick up the car there were imperfections that we noticed in the repairs they made and they agreed to fix. 5. More days without our vehicle. 6. Finally the work was completed and we picked up the car. There was substantial damage done to car while in their shop. After much discussion they agreed to make it right. 7. More days without the vehicle. 8. They called to say our vehicle was next in line for detailing and washing and 15 minutes later were called back to say it was not our car. 9. They called back late afternoon to say the car was finished they had looked it over and it was great. 10. We noticed when we brought it home that the molding on the door that they replaced was not properly attached to the door. 11. Drove the car to work the next day and when I returned home the molding that they removed in order to make the repair for the damage that they caused in their shop was missing. It obviously was not attached properly and blew off. 12. We did not want to deal with them any more and took it to another body shop. 13. The new body shop said they would have to order new molding and clips for the one that blew off and also on the door where the molding was lifting. 14. After closer examination the new shop noticed the mirror housing was not attached properly and would need to be disassembled and then reattached properly. 15. The left belt weather strip inter was broken and hanging inside the door panel that they took apart. 16 . Almost two thousand dollars later we are having to put out an additional $700.00 to correct the problems that they caused. 17. They could never meet their dead lines. 18. When it was all said and done they had our car for a total of 18 days. Big inconvenience for us and did not offer any rental. . 19. Lots of miscommunication between employees, 20. If you take your vehicle to this shop you are crazy. Please remember you have been warned.

I was T boned in a parking lot and received a significant amount of damage to my car. I went to this pre approved location by my insurance and it was by far the worst experience I have ever recieved. They fixed my car and ended up re damaging the recently fixed paint, did not report to our insurance that our car was unsafe to drive so my insurance billed us for 4 days of car rental that they said would be covered. They also tried making us put down a $500 deposit that my insurance faxed over the approval for and it took us asking them three times and us refusing to pay the deposit we knew we didnt have to to get them to fix it. In addition, they did not install the interior paneling in my car correctly and were rude to me when I returned and asked them to fix it, and while my car was in the shop I figured it was a good time to have a tune up. Apparently a tune up at this place does not include checking your belts even when I specifically asked them to check them. They took no resposibility for their mess ups and were rude to me when I asked them to fix it. I will never come back here again and would absolutely never recommend them to anyone.

The shop is garbage! I send my car there because geico asked me to do. After my friend told me they were bad, I decided to change shop. But they refused to put my bumper back on, and I dont have any way to carry the whole bumper. So I have to let them fix it. The first time they repair, they messed up my wrap and created a new crack, and there are dirty and bump on the paint. So they did another repair, which they put cost on my insurance cost. After the second repair, the wrap is terrible and another crack came out. Then at first geico wanted to put more money on my claim and to fix it. After arguing with the shop, they finally would pay some money for the fix and the wrap. Now after they paid the repair for one shop, I called them to pay the wrap, the owner Dean is just a jerk with terrible attitude and told me never to call him again and refuse to pay anything. Because of this shop, I have much more money on my claim and cant drive my car for months and still not fixed yet.

Dont take ur car to this shop they dont know what they r doing I had a small tree fall on my truck in December. And my insurance company subjested that i take it to stavros in albany. They initially had my truck for 4 weeks after they estimated 3. When i go to get it they acted really shady and they made me wait for a half hour after they closed to to get it in the pitch black so i couldnt see anything. Anyways during the repairs they screwed up everything they replaced and i mean literally everything and on the inside of the stuck was a layer of plaster dust from some of the work they did. So i have returned 3 times to try to let them make it right and now they r saying that they wont refix it and it is now well into april. So in my opinion i would never subjested this shop to anyone abd if you do go here make sure to check your repairs closely because they like to screw people.

Update*** I would not recommend Pacific Auto Body and Paint to my ex-wife. Had transmission issues and took the truck in to have them look at it. They thought the transmission might have just overheated, so they replaced the fluids, charged me $90 dollars, and sent me on my way. Next day, truck overheated and transmission went to hell. Had to park the truck on side of road and have it towed to Cordrays ($150 dollars of towing). The mechanic at Cordrays said that just by looking at the fluids, he could tell that the radiator fluid was mixing with the transmission fluid (The transmission cooler is connected to the radiator and had a hole in it). The mechanic said that the problem was obvious as soon as he looked at the slushy colored fluid. They fooled me twice--shame on me.

Had them look at a car before I bought it. Thought it was a good deal $50 for a pre-purchase inspection. They told me it was solid beside some drive belts it needed. Bought it, drove it 45 miles no problem. Next day it overheated. Took it to a Mercedes specialist... turns out glow plugs are bad, fuel injections bad among many other things it needed. Gonna take $950 to get it drivable and safe.... needless to say their pre-purchase inspection is total BS and I wouldnt let them anywhere near your motor vehicle. Some of the mechanics were real aholes too... Super rude to the really sweet receptionist.
