I have never written a negative internet review before. Unfortunately, I just had a frightening and violent experience at ATB automotive. They had been recommended to my husband last month as honest and affordable. My first two experiences were excellent. We were so happy to have a great mechanic. Then my gaskets started leaking oil all over the driveway and the engine. ATB had replaced them all and charged me $170 last month. I took the car in. They told me all the gaskets needed to be replaced. I explained they had just done that last month. He told me if I could find the paperwork to bring it in and they would take a look. I found the paperwork and brought it in. I pointed out that perhaps the error occurred because he listed the wrong car-type on my invoice. I had a Toyota. It clearly said my name on the top of the invoice with the work being done on an Acura. I politely joked that maybe the work had been accidentally done on a different car by mistake. The man behind the counter completely blew up. He slammed down his computer keyboard and yelled, “We are done here! Get out!!” I was shocked by his outburst and walked to the door. I got out my phone on the way, then he really became violent. He was charging at me and chasing me into the parking lot and screaming threats that if I didnt get off his “f***ing property this f***ing minute he was going to call the f***ing cops!” Honestly, I would have been delighted to have the cops show up because I have never been so afraid in my entire life. I ran to my car. I was shaking all over and drove away as fast as I could. I can see there is one of the three google reviewers that had similar experience. I wouldnt have believed her experience until today.

My daughter and I just had one of those worst-case-scenario experiences with ATB Auto. She brought her car there to replace a bad starter, and then paid the exorbitant mark-up on a new one without complaining. When she tried to start the car, however, it would barely turn over. At that point I returned and asked the man, who identified himself as the owners son, about the work done. He conceded that the replacement part was actually "reconditioned". When I asked him how we were going to rectify the situation he responded: "I have two options for you---you can leave right now, or I can call the police." How these people manage to stay in business is a mystery to me

I have been going to ATB Auto for the past 4 years and I wouldnt trust anyone else with my car. The prices are reasonable and they always go above and beyond to get the problem resolved for me. One time they were told that the part I needed for my car was no longer produced. Yet they still managed to track it down and fix my issue. I definitely recommend these guys!

I am looking for a good mechanic but, after reading the reviews and talking to people that have taken their vehicles to this establishment which I believe for Beaverton Auto Repair, I will be staying away from this place.

ATB did a great job on our brakes. They provided excellent service at a great value. Weve found our new mechanic! Highly recommend ATB to anyone looking for an honest, outstanding mechanic!

These guys are amazing. They have been there for me every step on way with all my cars. They provide financing to just about everyone.
