Ive never been more disappointed after having my hair "professionally" colored. I am a brunette who wanted to try going blonde. Let me first start by mentioning, I asked Haydn if this was something she was capable of doing for my hair type, when I first walked in. She responded "of course!", and proceeded to have a mini consult with Sabrina and I about mixing the color. Come to find, I still had a small amount of hair dye on my tips so they had to do another mixture to counter-act the pinkish tones. After 4.5 hours of foils and dryers, I was left with a 1980s frosted highlight. NOT, the look I was going for. Venus, the owner, offered to fix it for me the next day, so I agreed. I should have abandoned ship!..... Venus ended up frying my healthy hair. Not only did I end up with a burning scalp and hay-like hair, but my roots where a chicken yellow, that faded to a white/grey color from being over-processed. Horrible. I cant believe it cost me $145 to ruin my hair. You are supposed to feel better after a visit to a salon. This made me cry.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Daniel as my stylist. I love the salon, and all the extras they offer customers (champagne, even!) made me feel as if they really cared about me. But the best part was the job Daniel did on my hair. And I sure didnt make it easy on him. I let my hair go for long enough that it was down to my waist by the time I went in to get it cut. Poor Daniel had to spend two hours wrapping the whole thing in foils for the highlighting part, but he never once complained and kept me entertained the whole time with lively conversation. He listened to me and gave me everything I asked for and then some. And when he was done, my hair looked better than it has in years. The whole experience was worth a million dollars, but the cost was a good $60 LESS than Ive paid at other places. I will never get my hair done anywhere else but Potions Salon from now on, and I highly encourage everyone else to give it a try. And if my review wasnt convincing enough, they give you chocolate, too!

Daniel is a hair artist! He did an amazing color correction for my 15 year old daughter that was awesome! I was a cosmetology student and was unable to reverse the blood red, then black dye on her hair. She loves what he did in ONE session and he stayed til 9:00 PM to get her hair looking perfect for her school pics in a few days! I will never go anywhere else for my own hair and my two daughters!! I forgot to mention, hes a total doll! So fun, personable and genuinely an all around fantastic guy! Salon owner assisted for consult and they both were so knowledgeable and down to earth! This salon is tops!!!! If you dont know about Olaplex, I suggest you learn. You CAN have healthy color-treated/bleached hair. Go see Daniel and ask him how he works his magic :) Not a typical salon. They WILL remember you. I was there for hours and it felt like minutes. Kudos to potions!

What a wonderful experience my daughter and I had at Potions! I brought my daughter in to Venis for a cut and highlights, and was impressed from the minute we got there. Venis spent a good amount of time with her and the style books making sure she knew exactly what color my daughter was looking for. Then, champagne for mom (or coffee, tea, water, anything youd like, really) while the color was applied. Efficient, friendly, fun service, and the color turned out PERFECT. She looks like shes been out in the sun - the depth and movement of the color far surpassed any expectations :) My daughter looked so good, I booked for the following week! I can honestly say, I havent been so happy with my hair in years! All the grey is gone, and the highlights look natural - my hair feels great and healthy, too! My daughter and I will DEFINITELY be back!

I walked into potions with a greenish blue, patchy overgrown pixie that I had little hope of fixing. I wanted a natural color and a cut that needed some serious fixing. Venis was very honest when she told me she wasnt 100% sure the blue would life enough to get me red when we did our consult but man, that woman is a miracle worker. I walked out of the salon with a stylish dark auburn bob that was everything that I hoped it would be. Honestly it was the best money I have ever spent on my hair and now potions has a customer for life!

When I went in for my cut, my hair was to my rear. Sabrina was the first place I had gone that didnt bash my long hair (even if it was a little unhealthy at the time) and she even called it "mermaid hair". She didnt want to chop it all off like the other experiences Ive had before, she just wanted to make it healthy again! This was my first cut with Sabrina and I left feeling like a friend. The environment was very professional, yet relaxed. She even curled it for me and that was such a special treatment! Thanks Sabrina!

I had a terrible experience at Potions. I was unhappy with what they did to my hair and asked them to fix it but the owner was totally inflexible and didnt take any responsibility for messing up my hair. Under the pretext of fixing it, they colored an even worse color than the first time. I left the salon looking like a zombie. Never going back again. Customer satisfaction is not their priority.

Cute place tucked away in a small shopping center. I walked in and was able to schedule an appointment for just a couple hours later. I put off getting a haircut for so long because of a bad experience in the past but my time here was wonderful. Friendly service put me at ease. She listened to what I wanted and made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. Definitely coming back :)

Darci is a master at what she does... If you have ever thought of getting a massage for relaxation or lower back problems please call her first! My story is one of lower back pain from standing on my feet all day and a broken leg. After seeing Darci the first time I noticed a huge difference and have been a loyal follower ever since. The salon is very classy with lots of amenities and the policy is you leave happy no matter what it takes. Venus is a color genius! She can accomplish any look and because of this I have never used another stylist for 10 years. Best. Salon. Ever.
