Ive been going to Eclipse The Salon for half a year now, and Ive had consistently great experiences! Its clear that they have put a lot of effort into creating an atmosphere that is very professional, yet is also one where you can sit back after a hard day, and unwind with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee while you try a new style (or maintain an old one!) Nick has been my stylist since Ive been coming in there, and hes never failed to impress. Hes done an excellent job in both cut and color with me; I love the fact that on days I know exactly what I want he is very attentive to my wishes, yet he is also more than happy to offer tips, suggestions, and opinions when Im looking for something a little different.

I always feel so refreshed after a visit to Eclipse! Ive referred several friends to Nick, who works wonders. Ive never been very good at "doing" my hair, or keeping up with trends, so I really appreciate Nicks skill in giving me a current, flattering style that is easy for me to maintain between visits. Hes great about asking what I want. Hes also showed me a lot of products that really work for my hair. Eclipse has art work on display, including the work of Eclipse staff! And in 2009, they donated over $3500 and supplies to Outside In.. How cool is that?!?

Sunny is AMAZING!!! Shes great with all hair types (I have hard to manage curly hair and shes the only one Ive ever found who can cut it so it doesnt get frizzy or look ridiculous), and she really knows what shes talking about. The best thing about Sunny is that while shes already the best, she continues to learn new techniques and stay on the cutting edge. Shes phenomenal!!

I selected Eclipse originally for its location--right downtown. And I have stayed because of the great care I get there. Nick has been an awesome stylist. He is very attentive and puts up with my idiosyncrasies. I always get compliments on my hair cuts. I also love Denise for my skin care. I like the low-key atmosphere and art work. A great place!

An awesome place for haircuts. Nick at Eclipse is awesome. I have had many haircuts from him and I am always very satisfied with them, I have never had a bad experience with him like I have had at other places. Nick is always willing to fit you in and work around his schedule and yours. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

Nick at Eclipse is fantastic! Ive been getting my haircut with him for over a year and Im always so pleased. Their location is perfect, centrally located near Max. Easy to get to, with great views out the windows. Nick is always able to work with my schedule and send me an email reminder. Professional with great style.

Ken & Co have been cutting my hair for the past 18 years. Though Ive grown older during that time, I feel as though Im staying current without trying. Visiting the salon is always a highlight of my day, never a chore to get out of the way. Everyone is friendly, and super skilled at their craft. Thanks, Eclipse!

Referred to Nick by a friend... and havent let another soul touch my delicate locks since! I walk away with a professional, chic, and styled haircut every time. Unfortunately, every haircut has to end, which means Nick and I have to pick up our conversation at the next appointment... Looking forward to it.

Ive been going to Eclipse for seven or eight years. Tracey is fantastic, and everyone there is professional and friendly. I love the setting--with great light and art on the walls, its a relaxing place to unwind as well as get top-quality styling. Kudos to Ken for creating such a wonderful salon.

Ken Selis is the best! He is an excellent stylist--I get great cuts from him. His salon is very attractive; the work of a featured artist is always on display. Ken himself is a great guy. I enjoy the time I spend with him: talking, listening, or just in campaniable silence.

Ken Selis has been my go-to-guy for my hair since I moved to Portland in 1990. Hes guided me through many fun changes with color and different lengths. Ken was so excited to form Eclipse and its a wonderful, relaxing place to escape and be taken care of.

Nick is not afraid to suggest and try new things. I like to get try a new look frequently and hes always got good suggestions for what to do differently. Be bold, try something new. These people can handle it.
