I love this salon. I live across the street and thought Id give it a shot. I have crazy curly hair and hadnt had my hair cut right since Id moved to Beaverton from Los Angeles about a year ago. Id been given Deidres name and decided to just go for it. Its just hair and it will grow back was my mantra. Met Deidre, she listened to me without interruption and checked out some pictures Id brought in. She described what she would do. I was a little freaked out only because she wanted to wash my hair and cut it wet which my stylist in LA (Deva trained) never did. Shes the artist so I let her have at it. After she cut it wet she then diffused it dry and cut a bit more to give shape to the hair. She was quick but she wasnt rushing, she had a plan and was executing it. Honestly, my cut rocked! Shed taken what Id said and shown her and riffed on it to create a look that worked for me and my hair texture. Ive been back several times and each time the results are great. Girl is fearless and creative and tempers that with excellent listening skills and respect for her clients style. Deidre rules!

I have been seeing Mark for several years now after stopping a woman on the street and asking her for her hairdressers info! He is amazing with short cuts and color. My daughters have also had cuts from him (they have longer hair than me) and he cut their hair perfect as well (they are teenage age). If youre looking for a stylist in the Beaverton or Murrayhill area, go see Mark at Rain. Also, Shawna has been cutting one of my daughters hair and shes really good too. Staff is super nice, appointment scheduling is easy and Ive always been treated really well here.

They will not give your money back if you return a product that does not work for you. This is not an Aveda "concept" salon. They are not very knowledgeable about Aveda products and Aveda would never approve of the styrofoam cups they use to serve the tea.

Nice place. I thought it would be stuffy, but it was very comfortable. The stylist did a great job om my crazy curly hair and didnt even pressure me to buy other stuff.
