This place is the WORST!!! If you ever need service DO NOT call these people. They said they were going to put in my new air conditioner in July and they still have yet to come to my house to complete the service. (It is now September and I had to go the entire summer without an air conditioner) The company keeps canceling on me informing me they are either under staffed or the service tech called out sick....I highly recommend people to consider another company because these people do not keep their word and their lack of caring attitude also very disappointing. I repeat DO NOT use these people, they take your money and then do not complete their service. WORST COMPANY EVER!!! Not only that my husband took the day off from work because they said they were coming to the house to fix the AC on 9/5/17 and when he called at 3pm he was informed the tech had to cancel! So my husband missed a whole day of work AND wages! I called my home warranty company and they sent another company out to check out my AC and guess what, the new company is repairing my AC as of tomorrow! I informed Fidelity to not do service with this company in the future. RESPONSE TO OWNERS PREVIOUS RESPONSE: Thank you for your response, however, could your company have called us in the morning and let us know the tech was not going to make it out due to the fires. I am SURE he knew well ahead of 3pm that day. We have friends who live only a few miles from the fire and they knew well in advance about possible evacuation. Your company did NOT call us to let us know that the tech was never coming to install the AC, WE had to call and find out, which is unacceptable! We are not inhumane people and would have understood the tech needing to go to his home, but your company could have called us and let us know so my husband would not have missed his wages for the day. We have been more than patient with your company dealing with this AC issue, we have had to deal with it since July 19th! You have large company and maybe you do not think it is a big deal to miss a day of wages, but when you depend on those wages to pay bills it is a big deal to us. Again I think you are missing the point of taking care of your customers! Admit it, you guys just dropped the ball and of course the customer has to be the one to pay the consequences, not cool at all!

So, NW Sundance did finally come out with the switch and it of course it was not the problem (I don’t fault them for trying; it’s just how luck would have it). They did order me a new Heat Pump and it was installed properly. Here is the problem: seems American Homes Shield only allotted enough money to buy the cheapest model available and it’s as noise as all get out( we cannot watch TV and run it at the same time). I called AHS and they will not replace it because it has already been installed. Moral of the story, do your homework and ask as many questions as you can think of. Had I done mine and or had NW Sundance advised me, I would have taken a cash-out and put it towards a premium model . Anyone want to buy a noise tank that will supposedly “run and run”? My experience is the same as Jacobs, this place is a joke. I called them because we have a warranty through American Home Sheild. A supposed tech came out and said the Heat Pump Unit possibly needed a switch. He said that he would order it that day Friday January 24th. I called them on January 30th because I had not heard anything and they said they were sorry and would order it the next day Friday 31st, today is Feb 7th and still no switch. We just had a snow storm roll through Portland Oregon and its 20 deg outside. Ill be calling today today to mostlikly get some more of the same sorry, but we ordered it. When I asked for the companys name from which they order, I was told that they could not give out that information. Must be a Top Secret outfit that deals exclusivley with them! Im hoping my next post will be a positive one and that this issue will be corrected with a happy ending.. stay tuned, this is reviting stuff:)

NOT recomeneded. No better than a handy man, in fact pretty sure a handy man would have done better. As homeowners we snaked our pipes, even crawled around under the house to see if anything looked like it could be the problem. They came (will give them props as they called 30min before and arrived as they said, infact ahead of our 12-5 timeframe) out and snaked the pipes said thats all they can do and we would need to have someone else come out. Now i didnt go to school to be a plumber but apparently you only need to go to homedepot and purchase a 25ft snake and tada you are now a plumber. Total joke and now we have to go another week without using our washer/dishwasher/kitchen sink. If i could rate lower i would.... not impressed and wouldnt bet my life on their "plumbing" skills. *update* We were promptly contacted after this review. They are sending a different plumber this am. Saying yesterdays response from office personal stating "we could send another plumber but hell come up with the same results" was not acceptable as well as only snaking the line and not looking for a way to solve the problem. **update** The plumber spent time actually looking for the problem and a solution. We now have a solution & quote for the work.

Sundance Services of clackmas Oregon was scheduled to do a sewer scope for a sale. First the operator was arrogant and rude. His written report was that a severe belly was present in the existing line. That part was true. From there on it was a complete fabrication of his own judgement. He marked the spot of the low area completely wrong. He marked the depth and it also was wrong. Then to top it off he said that the lateral was shared. He went on to state that that was not the proper connection in this area. That written statement caused me a bucket full of trouble. I contacted the local jurisdiction and the there was reluctance to accept the condition. The engineering department was also not forth coming with help. The report was then forwarded to the loan institution and the loan was stopped because of the report. I decided to go forward with the repair because the line needed fixed whether this offer or the next. The excavator found that the line in fact was not a shared lateral!!! IT WAS A CLEAN OUT!! Which I had pointed out to him and he used to scope the rest of the line. People this inept should not be issued a business license. Use at your own risk!!!!! (Nothing lower than one star rates a NEGATIVE 5)

I rarely ever feel insulted working with home repair companies, mostly because businesses tend to to hire customer service reps who are somewhat self-aware; however, the CSR who I dealt with at NW Sundance was rude and belittling regarding my request for services. I tend to call places that do things that I dont know how to do when Im not sure what to do. You know, normal responsible home owner kind of logic. Turns out that NW Sundance was having none of that, how dare I call without having already crawled around under my house, localized the issue, and pinpointed where the fix needed to occur prior to calling. When I suggested that maybe, just maybe they would be the people who are experts at that kind of stuff, I was told, "I dont know what you expect us to do, we are a plumbing company". I immediately cancelled, called a national chain, they came out next day, poked around above and below, was out the door in 10 minutes with a diagnosis and recommendation. Didnt even charge me. If your home warranty services pawns you off on these jokers.. ask for someone else.
