Eric from MB was at my home to install a dishwasher. Instead of doing what we were quoted for, he stayed for an additional 4 hours (I was at work and the friend sitting at my house didnt know to stop him) we-routing my pipes. Now, no one asked him to do that, it wasnt necessary, and he didnt bother to ask anyone if he could triple our bill above the estimate amount. He just came into my home, and decided for himself what was best for me, and expected to be paid for it. When I was notified that he was still at my home hours after he should have been gone, I called him immediately. At that point he proceeded to speak to me as if I were trying to rip HIM off. When I refused to pay a cent over the amount of the estimate for THE WORK I ASKED FOR, he contacted my mother, a contact for this project. And convinced her to pay it. This Id robbery and Im reporting this company to every outlet I can find.

Ive used MP Plumbing (formerly Milwaukie Plumbing) probably six times over the past decade. I have an irrigation system and am required by law to have it tested yearly (a test that entails plugging a device into my backflow to make sure it works and doing some paperwork). I live in Milwaukie and to simply get them onto my property, it would be $118 (according to the woman I spoke with today). There are many companies that do backflow tests for under half of this. I have no problem with their professionalism or quality of work, just their pricing.

Would not recommend. Overpriced and they are not truthful with the time spent on labor. They do not inform clients of charges prior to service (they apparently charge travel time, which was not communicated to us). Costumer service poor. Many other more affordable and honest choices in town.

As a contractor, Ive been using MP for years. Ive found that theyre straight shooters, on time and for the most part affordable plumbers. You get what you pay for when it comes to hiring these types of services. Highly recommended.

Had a flood, MP dispatched right away, plumber was professional, knowlegable and fixed problem right away. Did not try to upsell or B.S. Would use them again and reccomend to friends and family.

BLOATED ESTIMATES!!!!!! Definately shop around before you go with this company. I dont know about those 5 star reviews for MP Plumbing. Maybe their business practices have changed since then.
