I was a walk in. Usually that means I have to wait a really long time only to be left in the chair when another person with an appointment arrives....i know you know what Im talking about. I was quickly greeted by Victoria and was told that she herself was available and if that was okay. I thought that was a nice touch because what if she had an overly progressive hairstyle and/or fashion sense that made me question her decision to help others with styling and I WASNT okay with it?!?! I told her what I wanted (pixie cut) and showed her lots of pictures and it was nice to see that she actually listened instead of her eyes glazing over in boredom of having to listen to a yappy customer do the Iwantthisandyoubetternotdothat rant. Just so happens she had just been wishing a pixie cut would come in...even though I was a grantor of wishes...no discount, lol. Long (hair)story(now)short....I love my new cut! Victoria did an amazing job and I get compliments on it ALL the time. Its stylish, versatile, and easy to care for. She admitted that she has always wanted to be a stylist since she was younger. Her love for the craft shows. I highly recommend Victoria at Absolute Hair Boutique

Tonya did my hair and she did an excellent job. I am a 32 year old white man, and my hair is a very dark brown, and she dyed it a nice red color. Admittedly, I have never had my hair dyed before, so I am not the best to use as a comparison against other hair stylists performances. However, Tonya was very meticulous in her nature, and didnt seem to want to rush anything for fear of messing up. Bottom line: she cared. She also worked well with her other employees which i think is paramount if one is going to succeed in the workplace. She is a great conversationalist and I am eager to return- maybe blue next time :)

The shop is clean, comfortable and inviting. The staff and stylists are fun, caring and professional. Changed to four stars. I talked to the owner Mindy who offered a refund, and apologized for the employee who caused the issues. My girlfriend got her hair colored here, first they did the wrong color, then we started noticing they missed tons of spots, and the roots. Now they are refusing to fix it or refund enough to have somebody else fix it. DO NOT waste your money.

Ive had three haircuts for myself, one with color, and two haircuts for my 6-yr-old son. Every time weve had a great experience. Talented and friendly stylists, relaxed atmosphere, good prices. Tonya Hixon, in particular, is a fantastic stylist and Ive absolutely loved my hair each time shes cut it.
