I took my 92 bonneville to these guys in feb 2014. I told susan that i had been ripped off by another shop two weeks earlier for $ 540.00, which is why I came to honest-1 also they had a sign in the window that their mechanics were ASE certafided. I explained to susan my driver info display and my compass did not work. She refered me to her head mechanic Norm, who told me that this was comman problem with this year and model. Norm also told me that he could remove the dash cluster and ship it to seatle to have it checked out.? I told susan that I need to have it fixed so go ahead and do it. My car was there over a week. Finally they called and said my car was ready. When I got there susan said that they did not find anything wrong with the dash cluster. Then she showed me the bill $ 665.48.??????? I have since done my own reserch and found out that if Mr ASE CERTIFIDED who knew about this comman problem would have checked the DIC ribbon connector on the cluster and cleaned and reseated it,I would not be wrighting this review about DIS-HONEST-1. THANKS FOR NOTHING p.s. I called Susan and asked if she would remove me from their mailing list since every time i get a flyer in the mail it reminds me of $ 665.48 not well spent!!!! makes me want to puke!

I had a leak in an AC line and took my jeep here. I told them the system had no pressure and the ac doesnt work. They got back to me and said the AC line needs to be replaced, but also said the condenser has a hole in it and the evaporator needs to be replaced. They quoted $870 and I reluctantly agreed. I was also told if there is anything else they would call me. After the work was done they snuck in a diagnostic charge without telling me. I caught it before paying and asked why I was charged. They said they always charge for it and I reminded them that A) I told them there was no pressure in the system, it doesnt take an ASE tech to figure that out, B) that they would contact me before any other charges would be applied before performing work, and C) they were offering free AC system diagnosis on their website. We argued about this for a good 10 minutes while I was being told that paying the diagnostic would be "the right thing to do" Ill never know the truth about the condenser but I have my doubts. I will never go back here for a few reasons. The hidden charge, comments from the garage "we have your address" etc while I was arguing with the tech. And I wouldnt be surprised if they flagged my account making me paranoid about coming here ever again.

Took my jeep patriot in for repair, check engine light on. I had already checked to code with my code reader. Code was for emission system. First was quoted $106 for diagnosis. Was called later and advised that I needed to purchase an "Evap Package" for $358 and that would cover diagnosis and testing of all sensors and repair and drive time to be sure code was cleared. (price did not include parts) Was called up the following work day and told the wires for the sensor in the fuel tank were chewed threw and the tank would need to be removed for repair. $890. I told them to stop work, paid the $106, plus hazardous materials fee, plus shop supplies. Took my vehicle home. Jacked up the back. Unhooked the wire. Uncliped it from the frame. Repaired the one wire that was chewed threw. Hooked it back up. Started the jeep. Check engine light automatically cleared. One half hour total time. Why do I think I was being cheated? I wouldnt recommend them even to someone I did not like. 4/25/16

Place is a den of robbers. I came in to have my front end looked at after I hit a median due to an accident. I know quite a bit about cars though I think they were expecting me to not. Came in for my appointment, was served. mechanic tells the front lady that the back rear hub needs to be replaced... I said what does the that have to do with what I came in here for? why are you taking off the rear wheels? They tried to tell me the whole hub was loose. No its not. Got the "alignment" job after telling me they were going to charge me 30 dollars just to look at my car. My steering wheel and my car still does the same exact thing as before I took it in. Top it off they told me my car was suppose to pull to the left!! Having driven this car for a long time and the many previous cars I know it is not suppose to pull to the left... I have to laugh cause of how ironic it is that their sign inside the waiting room "we will not upsell you parts you do not need" <--$69 for nothing to these crooks.
