I am a single female; the perfect target for an unscrupulous, greedy and dishonest person(s) to take advantage of me in a big way when it comes to car repair. Troutdale Transmission is NOT that kind of place. Bruce and his team are very professional; I recently took my car in as Weston GMC told me I needed new brakes all the way around, to the tune of $700. I wanted to get a quote from Bruce. Mid-day, he called and said there was nothing wrong with my brakes, that I may want to look at them again around January. Do you understand how easy it wouldve been for him to take advantage and go ahead and replace the brakes? Im no mechanic, so I have to rely on the recommendations of other people. By the way, his quote was $400, had they needed to be done. There are few people left in this world who are as ethical and honest as Bruce; single ladies of Troutdale, you cant go wrong if you take your car to Troutdale Transmission. Youll be treated with respect and always dealt with fairly.And that goes for anyone that needs work on their car. Thank God for Bruce!

Bruce & his team are by far the best Ive ever dealt with. No BS, to the point diagnosis, very fair pricing, & best of all - you need not worry about being ripped off. Ive had Bruce & his people do some extensive work on a couple different vehicles, & always, its been perfect work for a good price. They will not ever recommend work that does not need to be done; only a no - nonsense repair for the root problem. Theyll also let you know if there are any other things that may need attention, & even give you the no-BS truth about what needs attention & what can wait, if you need to be selective. Also, my Mom has been going to Troutdale Transmission for years now. Shes an older lady now, in her greater 60s, & she knows (and I know!) , shell be treated with respect by the friendly team that Bruce has. Dont bother going anywhere else. If youre looking for your GOOD, HONEST mechanic, youve found it here.

Wow! A+ service from the guys here. Extremely knowledgable, honest, kind, and hard working. We have a ford E250 camper van, and we were having problems with the seal of the transmission so we brought it here. Bruce, the owner, and the help of his crew had us back on the road within one day! Cant reccommend this place enough. Its so nice to have a place where you dont get ripped off for every little thing. Definitely go here for all auto needs and you will not be disappointed! :)
