No way these reviews are real!!! Im taking this maggot to court. This is nothing but a junk mechanic. Im the dumb one for going. No respectable mechanic would have there place looking that way. This is a 3rd world mechanic that does nothing but lie. He cant be trusted and his workers cant either. I will also be contacting the better business Bureau. He would not give me receipts for work that he day he did on my car. He has had my car on 25 different occasions and hadnt fixed anything yet but he has my 800 bucks. I will be getting all of my money back and he will also be fined for not giving me my receipts. I hope to get this maggot closed down. When you work on a car and someone pays you the car has to be fixed. Not just worked on. This idiot doesnt understand that but hell understand this subpoena. These reviews are for simple repairs and not real work because he cant keep the car overnight because he has no room. These are people who got brake pads and such. Look at the reviews on Yelp. Every single one is bad. This guy is simply a junk mechanic and his shop is nothing more than a junkyard. Im getting my car fixed at Marys. If you go to this womans facilities you will know within 5 seconds that these people are legit. No parts or junk cars laying around everywhere. Not even a drop of oil on the floor. Its actually kinda scary and its indoors. The place is top notch for an independent mechanic. The guy who test drove my car drove it for 20 minutes on the highway. That idiot Kevin drove it around the street. If this guy has ever done any shoddy work on your car sue him. It will cost you hardly a dime and he will eventually be closed down. Then he can go back to the 3rd world and do shady business there. If you ever go there ask him what did he do to Cedrics 2011 Chevy Impala and then tell him to give you my number and Ill show you the receipts. The guy charged me 180 and said he changed the shock absorber on brand new struts that I had just got put on. He said that it was a bad strut. I could have bought a whole new strut if that was the issue. Thing is it is no such thing as changing the absorber on the strut and I have a receipt saying that he did and Titus Will GMC said that there was no such thing and if that had happened to them that they would sue the low-life and that is what I will do. He also changed my plugs and did not put new wires and I paid 150 for that. How dumb can you be? Im sure this guy has some type of bad habit. These positive ratings are for people who went there for work that took the same day like brakes. Some even mention it. A 14 year old kid could do that and so could you. I am not from this area and did not know anyone. He does not guarantee anything either. He will simply have you bring your car and park it in that junkyard overnight. He cant find out what the problem is and getting brake pads is not a problem. Honestly no people with a decent looking vehicle would go here. This is the worst mechanic in the worst area of Tacoma...HILLTOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I have taken my vehicle to Mr. Kevin twice in just over a month and both times he failed to properly diagnose the issue. The first time I took my vehicle in he told me that my "check engine" light was on because I had not tightened my gas cap enough. The second time I took my vehicle in because again the "check engine" light was on and this time it was also making a concerning noise. Mr. Kevin again told me that it was my gas cap setting off the "check engine" light. I told him that I would be traveling a long distance for a few weeks for training for a new job and I wanted to be sure my vehicle was reliable and in a good condition. He personally insured me that he had "ran a full diagnostic, checked the front line and engine" and that my car was in great shape. Exactly 8 days later my vehicle stopped driving. A mechanic came to our home and ran a diagnostic and was given several codes back with a few issues but the biggest issue being that my vehicle was out of transmission fluid. That mechanic stated there is no way these issues arose over an 8 day period of time and confirmed that was why my check engine light was on and why my vehicle was making abnormal noises. This created a huge hardship for me and my family. My vehicle is currently in a dealership repair shop and Im not even sure how much damage was potentially caused as I continued to drive my vehicle not knowing it needed important and immediate maintenance. I was stranded at night after leaving work. I had to have my vehicle towed and now have to use a rental vehicle while I wait for repairs. All of this could have been prevented had Mr. Kevin and his team done their job correctly the first time or rather they had two opportunities!

Several weeks ago my clutch went out in the car. I took it to Kevins Auto Repair located at 1115 Earnest Brazill Street (Hilltop) in Tacoma, Washington. Kevin and his team repaired the car in one day. WOW!! The repair cost was 1/3 the price of/from other dealership and shops in the area. I WAS EXTREMELY EXCITED!!! After completion of the new clutch it went out a week later. I could not believe it. I called Kevin and IMMEDIATELY he had me bring the car back in to replace the new clutch. While they were working on the new clutch I was concerned about having to pay again. After completion of the newest clutch Kevin called me in and upon my arrival I asked him how much it would cost. Kevin said NOTHING at all. I was so impressed with my experience at Kevins Auto Body that I will never use another mechanic shop but Kevins from now on out. What an awesome place and Kevin and his team is truly heaven sent. A++++ Thank you Kevin, Pastor Paul

My cars engine started shaking in Tacoma on a Friday night as I was on my way to the peninsula. Kevin was able to see me Saturday afternoon, within an hour of my call, and he not only fixed the problem, but also found another issue that could have caused trouble for me once I got back on the road. I confirmed with my mechanic at home that my timing belt needed to be replaced and also that the price was quite reasonable. I couldnt be more pleased! Thank you Kevin for helping me through these difficulties.

i dropped about $2,800 in a week and my car died immediately out of the lot. one of those mechanics that just throws hundreds of dollars in parts at you and then charges you $100 to jump a battery without asking you when thats how much a new one costs. in the end they could not tell me what was wrong with the car because they didnt ever know. i could have brought it back but i wasnt trying to spend $20,000 on a vehicle i purchased for $1,000 a week earlier.
