RK (Jeremy) completed several smaller jobs for me within the last year. The first time I called, I received a prompt return call and an appt within a day or two - quicker than I thought I would since it was a small job. The work was done quickly and for a reasonable cost. The second call was more difficult - this time I talked to Jeremy directly and received a prompt appt which required an electrician and an asst. They installed two light fixtures for me in two story spaces - no easy task and the work was done quickly and again, for a very reasonable price. I am getting ready to do some remodel work and will ask the contractor to include RK in their list of subcontractors. I highly recommend RK Electric.

I am going to have to post date this review to 12-15-2015. Gerald was dispatched to my newly purchased home to trouble shoot an electrical issue I had with a Heat and Glow Gas (IPB; electric ignition) fireplace. The previous home owners were very much a DIY kind of extended family. I was not sure this gas fireplace was safe to use. Gerald came out and spent an hour, located an inappropriate DIY electrical connection, causing electricity to intermittently flow to the appliance; and fixed the problem straight away. Gerald was an absolute delight to meet.He was such a professional and ran the problem to ground quickly and was on his way. This is a company I will definitely use in the future.

I had my fuse box upgraded to accommodate the addition of an A/C unit as well as the installation of two ground rods, four exterior outlets and a couple of interior outlets. Im quite guarded when it comes to having any kind of contract work done on the house so I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that starting with the original bid all the way through to completion of all work, I have nothing to say but praise for their workmanship, professionalims and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to utilize their services again and certainly would recommend them to anyone that is needing solutions for their electrical needs. Expect nothing less than quality results.

Rob came out to estimate the job. He did not listen to me and sent a guys out to do 2 of the 3 things he was asked to fix. I then called Rob and let him know that he forgot one thing he just said he would pull his guy out instead of fixing anything. Our house is now left in a mess because he has cut the walls up. Apparently Rob has a communication problem and would rather loose our money rather than admit it.

RK Electric installed 6 new light fixtures in our house recently plus a 50 AMP plug in on the side of the house for our Motorhome. We found them to be very professional in every aspect of the job. They were very detailed oriented, paid high attention to safety, and did a great job of clean up when finished. Their prices seemed reasonable and we would highly recommend them.

Needed about three outlets installed. Tried to charge us $700. The technician left to get parts, got lost and wanted to charge us for this time. Also, left several wires hanging in the basement which created a potential fire hazard. We had to call another electrician to come in and clean that up. Use someone else.
