Bad Builder Not worth the time. Im just trying to warn other folks of how rotten this Jim Davisis! This guy is the worst kind of contractor. He made us sign several change orders for over $10,000.00 more or hed stop working, as he had at the time costing us $$$$$ a month. Contracts with his buddies for additional work, did he get a kickback?? Then he sues us after paying him almost $250,000.00! Run dont walk away from him. Hell rob you blind! Then hell screw you from behind after hes done with you. Whale all beef hooked by Jim David of Central Coast Builders. Dont get "Beef Hooked" by Jim. Run away to another, reputable contractor. This one is no good! We paid almost $250,000.00 just to get screwed!!! We gave him a job in 2010, when US housing starts were the lowest in recorded history! Most of his subs were very nice, he was not. Run away to another, reputable contractor. This one is no good! NO GOOD!!!

I couldnt have found a better contractor to work with. Jim Davis gave personal attention to the build of our home and it shows. We have a beautiful home with many special touches that we chose to add based on Jims advise and expertise from building homes for so long. Construction was high quality but kept within our budget. Jim ensured his subs did quality work, too, and at the least sign of an issue, he was all over it and made sure the customer came first. Jim was flexible with changes and really listened to our concerns to make sure we were 100% happy with everything. We came away from this with not only a wonderful home but a new friend. I would recommend Jim to anyone and challenge you to find a better contractor anywhere!

I recommend Jim Davis and Central Coast Builders to my friends that need remodelling jobs, large or small. He remodelled my lower level last year which included moving walls and upgrading a bathroom. When he gave his bid (which was the lowest bid that I recieved), he made excellent suggestions to improve the design that I had in mind. They stayed on budjet and completed the job on time. They also were accommedating in working around the painting and woodworking that I wanted to do myself. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others. I am a very satisfied customer.
