Corvalliss Alpha Phi House Corp Board has used G. Christianson for 3 projects so far: a closet-to-kitchenette remodel and front porch facade update/repair the Summer of 2012 and a complete basement remodel and boiler system replacement this Summer. Carl managed the first Summers projects with very late planning on our part and pulled them both off in expert fashion, even though there were unforseen repairs that cause additional work. This summers project was well planned out but still required an exceptional level of quick thinking, problem solving and execution due to continued discovery of failing existing systems which couldnt have been fully vetted prior to starting. For example failed septic and water drain lines, support beams and joists, asbestos, etc. It was a wild ride from the owners side, but Carl and Greg maintained fantastic composure, were in constant problem solving mode and amazingly managed the project to completion within the short Summer timeframe with which we had to work -- including all these extras and obstacles -- and with the greatest of quality and professionalism! Weve found they have a solution-oriented focus, providing options and cost/return analysis, and go the extra mile to ensure theyve educated themselves on the systems or features we want. Our new high efficiency boiler system is state of the art and our 46+ live-in collegiates love their new space!

Relationship: Client Project Date: October 2014 Project Price: $10,000-$49,999 We had a very positive recommendation from a friend who used G. Christianson Construction in the remodel of their kitchen. This led us to seek out Carl Christianson who headed our kitchen project from start to finish. This involved removing old tile counter tops in the kitchen, choosing granite to replace counter tops and glass tile back splash, installing composite sink, new stove top and oven, repair of cabinets where necessary and finally painting kitchen. We were so impressed with the time line Carl was able to stick to once the project started. He was there monitoring each step of the process making sure care was being taken, e.g., use of plastic "room" to off set dust through rest of the house and putting down floor protection. Carl was very accessible and easy to work with. Most impressive was his patient attention to details. The subcontractors he hired were all pleasant and good craftsmen. In the end the result exceeded our expectations. We have a beautiful updated kitchen.

G Christianson has done 2 jobs for us and both times we were very happy with the results. The first was a remodel job. Carl worked with us to find parts that we could do ourselves to get it within our price range. All aspects of the work were done in a timely manner and we were always kept informed of the status of the project. The final result is fantastic- looks like it was part if the original house. The second job was a small one that needed immediate attention. Carl responded right away and took care of the repair, even though it was a small job. G. Christianson is now our contractor of choice for sure- its worth the price knowing everything is done well and in a timely manner.

Greg and Carl have done three different projects for us. I have been impressed every time with their clear and friendly communication, knowledge and experience, work ethic, and attention to detail. I liked that on each project there were no surprises...the cost came in right at the estimate. Its apparent when you work with them that they are interested in building long term relationships, not just making money on one particular job. Its also clear they are good employers to their workers, have strong relationships with a wide range of subcontractors, and have extensive knowledge regarding permitting, etc. I would be very reluctant to go with any other company in town.

Greg has done extensive work for us over the past year and we could not be more pleased with the quality of workmanship/materials, timeliness, attention to detail and the friendly, cooperative manner he and his contractors bring to the job. They did an addition, including a master bedroom expansion and a new master bathroom; a complete gutting and rebuild of a laundry room; and several improvements to a residential outbuilding. Greg also oversaw extensive plumbing work including a complete repipe of the main residence. We love our "new" house and would highly recommend G. Christianson to anyone needing building or remodeling work.

These guys are serious about their work. I had them install this retaining wall in my backyard. I couldnt have been happier with the way the work was done, and the finished product is perfect. The wall is 24" high, 8" thick and 140 feet long and has a 12 foot radius midway along its span. Since it will be veneered at a later date I asked them to make it as smooth as possible and I was amazed this morning when they removed the forms. No cracks and smooth as a billiard ball. Really first class job! I highly recommend G. Christianson Construction. Outstanding!!!

The quote, contract, and bills were clear and straightforward. The subcontractors were efficient and neat (the work was done while we remained open, so this was particularly important). We needed an exterior structural front repair on our home. Tanner came out in a timely manner and got the ball rolling! He coordinated all that needed to be done; permits, engineer plans/designs, problem solving, roofers, painters and so forth. Tanner also kept in touch to make sure everything went smoothly. They finished both projects ahead of schedule, stayed within the budget, and on one project helped work with my insurance company so I was reimbursed the full cost of the water damage repair.
