So I get off the city bus at the Vancouver and Lombard stop with my laundry cart and a another big bag of laundry. On the bus you cant see the street sign, of course, but it is well marked on the building. I appreciated that. Id heard that this laundry is 24 hours, so, I looked for confirmation of the hours on the front glass windows and doors. I looked on the walls. I looked on the bulletin hoard, walls and on the machines. I didnt want to ask the cranky attendant because he had already chastised me got not seeing the change machines. (They were right behind me when I scanned the store for them. I should have seen them.).
So I go to the counter. , the attendant is maybe 10 feet from me and his back is turned,
Me: Hello! Can you tell me if youre open 24 hours?

Lets face it. Going to the laundry mat is one of the worst chores in life. Especially in Portland! Try slugging around in the freezing rain with your huge hamper of clothes and finally getting to a laundry place only to be the victim of sexual expletives hurled your way by some creepy bum. Sorry but had to be frank in order to explain why I like this place so much! Its clean-which is huge! No bums, manager is always around and there is even wifi and a TV!!!! God, am I in laundry heaven?! There are a number of machines that all seem to work well. You can usually get in and out fairly easily. But then its time to drudge back home again. :(

I tried this place out last Friday and was amazed that every machine in the place worked. When does that ever happen at a laundromat? Reasonable prices and huge dryers and the place was very clean. I was able to crank out six loads of laundry in under two hours. Alas, I accidentally left one of my laundry basket there and didnt realize it until today (Monday). I called and the person who answered the phone asked for a description and then told me it was still there. I just picked it up, unstolen and unharmed. My only complaint is the blaring TV but most of the patrons seemed to be watching it so perhaps its just a matter of taste.

I used to live near by but I moved and I still drive all he way to Alpine to do my laundry. They are open 24/7 and they are clean and the machines work great. There is a large flat screen on the wall with a remote and they also have a computer with internet access. They no longer to dry cleaning(havent for years) but the wash and fold is great too. The double load is $2.00, better than $2.50 down the road. Right on the corner accross the street is Javiers Tacos also open 24/7 and their food is off the hook. YUM

I went around nine oclock, and already the place was sketchy. A man was taking pictures of me on a camera phone, a guy was buying drugs off a motorcycle outside, some lady was taking up every single washer and left it while she played video poker next door, and oh yeah, the guy screaming from the bathroom clearing on some heavy drugs. The tv was broken, the prices were ridiculous, and no exaggeration, I was actually scared of the place. Would recommend anything but here,

I have been to this Laundry mat before, always enjoyed it till tonight. A lady sleeping in the recliner from the time I got there till I left hour and a half. 5 or6 guys and girls hanging out in front and inside smoking something out of a can. A lady and child on the computers. I took pictures of this. Not sure what Im going to do with the pictures. But something needs to be done about loitering around. I will find a new place to go.

The convenience of a 24 hour laundromat is amazing all on its own. But this place, other than a few tweakers, is a step above. I was able to wash and dry 5 double loads with $20. Badass. Not to mention, it was remarkably clean. The night staff guy, Matt, was super friendly and was keeping the vagrants out and keeping the place tidy. Not a bad experience. I will definitely be back.

Always open, and theres often an attendant even at late hours. WiFi, TV, & just across from Javiers Tacos (24hrs). Start your wash, grab a burrito. The owner Harold is a caring person who takes care of people in the community. Leave unwanted clothing items in the big lost & found basket and they will go to the homeless.

I dont go anywhere else!!!! Plus they have a custodial on site, which has been really helpful!!!! I give this place a ☆☆☆☆☆!

NO hot water! More difficult to dry. Some months ago when I was sick I took some bedding in to be washed, I brought my own odor free soap, they charged me $13. They washed it in a load it with perfuemed soap and for FOUR washings that bedding smelled like that awful soap.

Very clean . bathrooms are well kept. Employees on site during day hours . open 24/7 very convenient. And spook affordable better prices than anywhere if been in north portland. $3.50 for mega loader washers and 7 min per 25€ dryer time. For giant dryers up to 75lbs

Courteous service when you need help. I know when I use the machines that they are clean. Ive seen the staff sweeping the floors or wiping down the surfaces of the counters. Ive never had problems with getting my laundry done there. Thanks for the use of your WiFi.

all machines looked good and working. manager (i think) was really friendly (offered me a cart) and hardworking (was wiping down all of the machines). they have a big flat screen tv and even a sign that says free wifi while you wait!
