This laundromat was already my favorite and has been for a while, but after the incredible customer service and friendly owners that I encountered today, I had to post a public review! So like I was saying, best laundromat! The washers are HUGE, and they take credit cards. I mean, that right there is a WONDERFUL CONVENIENCE. The laundromat is always really clean, and the owners! They are so friendly and professional. Its always so great to see them. So we had to go do our laundry last night, and we had a TON of it, and a load was left behind on accident IN A WASHER. What? Yeah. We did that. I called super early, expecting to get a voicemail at the business once we realized our mistake this morning. But Connie (the owner) answered and confirmed for me that I did indeed leave them. She offered to throw them in a dryer and I was so thankful. I went to pick them up this afternoon and not only did they dry them but they also folded them and stacked them neatly. I was so impressed with how awesome they are! I mean really, if you need to do lots of laundry REALLY fast, Belmont EcoLaundry is the place for you! Or even if you just have a regular amount of laundry. I cant recommend this place enough. I wish I could give them more stars.

I have been living in SE for over a year and I have to say they are one of the best laundromats around. Ive only met the owners once but when I did they were eager to help, give advice, and were super friendly. They also have washing machines that will text you when your laundry is almost done so you dont have to sit and wait if you dont want to. The machines are huge and fast, I can do all of my laundry, sheets, towels, blankets, etc, in about an hour and it actually comes out clean!! It is a bit expensive to wash (compared to my apartment complex) but drying is really cheap and its so fast its worth it. No more wasting half of my day or more fighting for scary apartment washer and dryer that doesnt work! Definitely check it out! Its awesome!!

For the longest time, I didnt understand why people hated laundromats because Id only been here! Belmont Eco Laundry is clean, quick and pleasant. Almost every time Im there, theres someone around cheerfully wiping down machines and showing newcomers how to use the credit card machines. (Yes! You can use credit or debit on about a third of the washers and dryers. Theres also a quarter machine, so you dont have to stop by the bank first to break that $20.) The smallest machines start at $2.25 for a quick wash, but they fit about 2.5 loads of laundry each, so its not a bad deal. One tip: Use a lot less detergent than you normally would -- these high-efficiency machines really only need a little, and it wont wash out if you use the usual amount.

Hands down the best laundry experience I have ever had! The owner(?) was incredibly kind and helpful, holding the door open for me, showing me how to get the best bang for my buck and encouraging me to seek him out if Im not satisfied with my experience or wash! The business was very clean, safe and machines were top quality, easy to use and could wash an incredible amount of loads at once for a reasonable price! The free wifi and well situated corner store and bar knocks this place out of the park! I couldnt be happier with my experience at Belmont Eco Laundry and will make it my one and only stop for my quarterly blanket, comforter and dog bed washing marathon!

This place is great. Its under new ownership and its been completely remodeled. The machines are top of the line electrolux. Not only are the washers eco friendly, theyre text enabled, so you can go down to the Horse Brass Pub, or the food carts on Belmont, and get updates on your wash. They also have more high capacity washers (45, 60, and 70 pounders) than anyone in all of SE Portland. The driers are great, too. Theyre all high capacity and have this nifty reverse spin function to make sure everything dries quickly and evenly. Definitely nice to have such a great resource back in neighborhood.

Jennifer is the most awesome lady ever! Me and my daughter loves coming to visit her, and of course do our laundry. Shes very helpful, and seems to love her job. The laundromat has everything you need, including WiFi to finish your loads in a timely fashion. They also have monster sized washing machines and dryers if you have bedding or a 5 person households wardrobe to get clean. They keep this place very cleans, and in functioning order. Its great!

I really like this place. Its well maintained, the WiFi is fast, and the machines take debit cards. What more could you want? Plenty of carts. Fair amount of counter space. We went later at night, and there was a guy and a gal cleaning who looked like they really cared about their job - both really sweet. They had huge washers that took my oversized comforters, and the cool setting on the dryers was a blessing. Ill be back for sure!

I went out of my way to go here based on all the positive reviews and the fact that I could use my debit card to do the washes (not the drying—bring bills/quarters) which is amazing. The place was clean, there were plenty of washers available (I went on a Tuesday night) and the best part is that both my loads were washed and dried in a record 45 minutes total! Thats outrageous! I will certainly be returning.

Im not sure I want everyone to know how great this place is. Stay away! :) This place may smell like fish, the machines may take forever...just kidding this place is awesome, always clean, WiFi, Electrolux washers, in and out in under two hours and now theres the new Hawthorne location near Safeway so you can get your shopping done while you wait for your things to dry.

Lots of washers & dryers ranging from big to really big to huge to gargantuan. (When they get some more of the dryers on their c.c. system it will be even better.) Plenty of carts and acres of clean folding table space. Free WiFi? Ive seen a lot of laundromats over the decades and this is the nicest, cleanest and most useful ever.

This is the Taj Mahal of Laundromats. The place is "green", light, airy, spacious and kept immaculately clean. The washers and dryers are new, well kept and clean. And the place in general is great. Benches, magazines and a great ambiance make this place a pleasure to do your laundry. ...Also, try the food cart two doors down.

What a wonderful place to wash your clothes! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the place is cleaner than any laundromat Ive ever been to, the equipment is all in working order and top of the line, and theres even a clean restroom to use!!! Lets face it. Doing laundry sucks. At least this place makes it feel like fun.

The washers were easy to use, plus there were plenty of them to use, maybe a little pricey, I paid $6.50 for a quick wash, but was able to get everything done in one load. The place was very clean, the one gal whom worked there was very helpful and friendly, and professional, all which is a big plus.
