Preface: I have been a frequent customer of this location and Alberta. Around Christmas I went in and had a great experience with a gal who had a constellation tattoo. She colored my hair purple from dark brown and she warned me of possible complications of damage, but was very excited to try it and adventure to try the purple. I loved it. Recently, I went in and had a haircut about two weeks ago. Different gal and loved the haircut and the shape little angled and she payed attention to what my hair naturally did (curled). I went in tonight in hopes, after being turned away the night before due to a timeline (although website said 7pm, and I was there by 7). So I made a reservation and rushed from work near downtown to get a color consultation. When I got there, it wasnt very busy. The lady who assisted me was nice, but she did not want to color it the way I had hoped for. Instead of trying to try and find a happy medium, she only wanted to color my hair brown. She was afraid of "wasting time" and damaging my ends worse, which I knew what the consequences might be. In the end she colored it brown like she wanted and I asked for highlights or something to help make it so dark and she told me to come back after a few trims. After coloring my hair I agreed if my ends were needing a trim, she could trim a little, but that I wanted to keep the shape of the style I was given two weeks ago. Needless to say, I lost my haircut from two weeks ago, and have a hair trim that lost the shaped I paid $40 for two weeks ago and a color I repeatedly said I hated without highlights or something to make it stand out. I am very disappointed in the stylists lack of confidence, and lack of paying attention to the desires of the customer and trying to find a happy medium.

I thought the woman who cut my hair was joking when she said it was her first time, but clearly she wasnt. She forgot to shave one side of my face, left me covered in hair clippings, etc. This place has gotten so, so much worse than when I went to them a few years ago. I wont be making that mistake again.

This place gave my son a ONE hour haircut. Probably one of THE best haircuts he has received since he has walked this planet. Thank goodness he was being patient that day. Prices are a little high, but the stylist are attentive to details so it is worth it.

The girl that did my hair, think her name started with a K? Was generally nice but kinda combated my ideas & didnt really suggest solutions when something I wanted couldnt be done. She also did an awffulll job blending my layers. So not worth $33

Great staff, great cuts, decent prices. Its nothing super fancy but I appreciate the good service, friendly staff, and laid back vibe. They consistently cut my hair well. They also have a buy 9, get one free offer if youre there a lot!

Stylist was friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. They offered me a beer while I waited. Cool location and only about a 5 minute wait for walk-ins. Id definitely go back! $24 for haircut and I got $3 off for yelping them. Awesome!

16 Oz cheap lager while you wait. Cost is 60% more than similar haircut at great clips. They offered to "clean up my eyebrows" but pretty darn near shaved them off.

Dont go in the evening if you dont have to... they close the list long before closing time and are anti-reservation. Other than that inconvenience, theyre great!
