Wow, our new favorite BBQ joint! I had catering for about 30 from Texas spit BBQ for my husbands birthday -- brisket, chicken, beans, greens, cornbread and slaw. We loved every bit of it and so did our guests! Charles was great to work with in the ordering process, helping me figure out how much to order of each item. Prices were very affordable, and we ended up with the perfect amount of food -- just a bit of leftovers for us to enjoy the next day! Everything was ready when we picked it up, and they were all helpful and friendly. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth good, the greens were laced with shredded meat, the cornbread was moist and sweet, and the coleslaw was gone before I could go back for seconds. We would definitely cater with them again and will go back just for a personal dinner. Highly recommend!

The meat is okay, but skip all the other overpriced sides. $7.95 is a lot for a pulled pork hoagie, its big, but its not that big, and comes with zero sides. I asked for extra sauce, because I know that it is a bit dry, and she said I would have to buy a $3 little cup, but then she squirted a little more. The guy that runs the place is really friendly, but his staff lacks any friendliness at all.

Delicious is right! Ive had the smoked brisket, the baby back ribs and the smoked turkey legs. And Ive had them more than once because theyreally all SO GOOD. Baked beans, corn and coleslaw also very tasty. Love the homemade peach cobbler too. I made chili with the leftover smoked brisket. What a great flavor! My only complaint is that theyre only open Wednesday through Saturday!

Everything was horrible. The meat was fatty, the menu was geared towards a group purchase instead of a single customer, and I could swear the beans came out of a can. I was excited to see a BBQ place so close by, but unfortunately Ill never be trying it again.

Dry, burnt, overpriced, unfriendly service. Sauce was the only thing that was ok and it tasted like a pureed Chipotle chili in Adobo sauce from a can. I can do better ribs at home on the stove top smoker for a lot less cash.

Great BBQ in SW Portland. I tried their pork ribs and brisket with corn and coleslaw. The meat was fantastic. Smoky and tender. Coleslaw was good. I wouldnt get the corn on the cob again, but they have plenty of other sides.
