My husband and I recently used Voila Catering for our wedding reception at the Rose Garden Amphitheater. Voila was wonderful, not only was the service excellent but the food as delicious as Id hoped for also. Our guests were very impressed with the food and everyone had a good time. We got so many compliments, and the waiting staff and Tamara were so professional and friendly, it really felt like a polished, elegant party which is exactly what we had hoped for. I know in some of the reviews people complain about Jonathan being opinionated, but honestly his opinions were correct on the big day, and I was glad we went with most of his suggestions. Something as simple as his suggestion to order off white table linens instead of pure white so that the sun didnt blind our guests reflecting off the linens. On the day of, the sun was very bright, and off white was certainly bright enough, I was so glad we went with his suggestion. I was worried they wouldnt look white enough, but they looked great. They really know their business. Lots of simple suggestions like that really made a difference in how enjoyable the day was, and how smoothly it went. I was also really impressed with how tolerant Jonathan and Tamara were of my husband and I changing our minds or adding in new things right up to last minute. They were very polite and had excellent service in this regard. They helped us deal with last minute hiccups with solutions that worked wonderfully. They also allowed us to bring in a special kind of soda we wanted and coordinated a lot of extra things with other vendors that we needed, so that we didnt have to think about those extra things and could just enjoy the day. I was very pleased and my husband also so glad we chose Voila, we will use them again if we have a big event.

Voila catered our small, casual reception and it was perfect. We were on a pretty tight budget but our guests having great food was a priority for us. Voila was able to provide incredible food along with linens, service ware and great staffing. Our reception was in a public park, and we considered doing rentals ourselves and either making food or getting premade, high-end, grocery store deli food. The cost of having Voila provide everything we wanted plus staff to set up and, most importantly, clean up at the end of the night was only a few hundred dollars more than we could have done it for ourselves. It was well worth the time (and dish washing!!) we saved and turned out better than we wished for! If your priority is all inclusive service and really delicious food, this is your place!

Voila Catering provided the food, service and beverages at our company open house last week. They met with my staff to plan the layout of the event and arranged for all the tables and linens. They suggested a great florist and helped coordinating the event colors. They did much more than provide the food...it was like getting an professional event planner for free. Chef Tamara and Chef Sarah prepared all the food in our office kitchen space and everything was fresh and delicious. There were no surprises at the event..everything went exactly as planned. And the cost actually came in under the estimate! Thank you for a wonderful event, we look forward to using you again. I am sure that with all the business cards our guests took, we will be seeing you all around town!

What perfect food for a standing reception...these guys know how to throw a party! Voilas Open House food was excellent with great flavors and all made right there. I can not say in words how wonderful each and every item was: Thai Chicken Bundles on Fried Wontons Honeyed Apple with Blue Cheese and Candied Pecan on Endive Leaves Seared Wild Boar Tenderloin Crostini Lime-Ginger Dungeness Crab Slaw Cucumber Cup Olive Tapenade and French Chevre Canapé Painted Hills Beef Short Rib Biscuits with Sweet Potato Mash Hot Gingered Butternut Squash & Pear Demitasse Cup Soup Crispy Tuille Cookies filled with Frangelico Mascarpone Cheese & Hazelnuts Vanilla Bean Crème Brule My favorite was the short rib biscuits and my wife LOVED the creme brule. we are dying to have this food again!

We were lucky enough to have Voila cater our wedding this month at Bridal Veil Lakes. From our first meeting with Jonathan, we were sold - the extremely detailed and reasonable budget/plan, quick response time and fact they prepare all their meals on site (and provided rentals and clean-up) immediately impressed us. Come wedding day, the entire staff was cheerful and attentive and Jonathan and Jen made sure the day ran smoothly and proceeded exactly how we envisioned. On top of that, our guests are still raving about the food! It really is incredible!

Chef Tammie developed a wonderful menu for our dinner party. The food was perfectly cooked and the guest really enjoyed watching the chef team in our kitchen. The servers were always right there when you wanted another bite of food, the bartender was elegant, and the table service impecable. Several of the guests commented that it was the best food they had ever had in Portland! Your food was well worth every penny and the execution of your event plan was flawless. We look forward to using you again and again!

I used Voila Catering for an event and the food was fantastic. Hors Doeuvres were made on site and the chef even cooked all the hot food right there. So much better than when caterered food is brought hot in a box after being cooked off site. I will always choose Voila Catering for my Special Events!

I had Voila Caterings food at the holiday shopping event at Tiffany & Co. The food was wonderful. They did a smoked trout mouse filled apple bite that was great. Naturally, at Tiffanys their bartenders did a blue martini! I highly recommend their food!
