I want to give it a five star rating... But I just cant. Granted, with these problems, I couldve taken my food back and said something, but I didnt. This place usually has such great food.. However the last few times orders have been messed up, and the food was awful. I bought two salads the other day. The chicken in my cobb salad was basically frozen. It was hard and extremely cold. For spending almost $10 on one salad, I was very disappointed. I couldnt even finish half. The greek salad was mush & didnt have salad dressing, which was a bummer. Today I purchased 2 smoothies. Carrot pineapple was good. The passion green smoothie is usually so so good... I couldnt take another drink. For a drink that doesnt have milk it tasted almost sour and curdled.. My stomach is totally messed up from drinking it. Ive never had bad customer service there. Its always great. Sadly, the food seems to be hitting a rough patch lately.

I tried Panera Bread for the first time today on my way to work. I ordered a muffin and coffee. The self-serve coffee bar was out of regular coffee at 9:30 AM on a Saturday morning. Only Hazelnut and decaf available. I tried to tell the cashiers, who ignored me. Another customer offered to show me how to get coffee so I showed her I knew how but it was EMPTY. I got the attention of a worker in the back and told her they were out of coffee "Thats not my responsibility." was the answer. By this time I was going to be late for work if I wasted anymore time, so I left, having paid way to much for a muffin that was from a mix and only tolerable. I wont be back. I will stick with the little bakery down the street (which unfortunately was closed for the holiday weekend, or I wouldnt have had to experience this from a lousy chain anyway).

We placed our order online and we got 2 of the Pick 2s. Both my sandwich and my wives had very little meat on them and the meat that it did have on it was clumped together instead of spread out evenly. To top it off both her and I were told that they were out of bread and when we walked in they were giving out bread to a patron who was sitting down. When we picked up our food they were not very nice about our order and only said sorry for the order. The final straw was when I called to the store to talk to the manager and was told "We are busy right now could you call back in 10 minutes." She didnt so much as ask for my information so they could call me back, she just told me they were busy and to call back. Second time this has happened to me now!

Not a fan, it was our second time here and the cashier was in a hurry to get us out of the way and to the next person, I feel like the price for a pbandj is a little silly, and the food sint very flavorful, we got bakery tickets for after we ate and asked what items were included so I could show my kids and then everything they picked was "oh not that, thats not included" ummmm I beleive I specifically just asked that question? While we were there there was a large group of teenage boys hanging out with the staff clogging up the area around the soda machine making it difficult to navigate the already full area. Overall I dont think we will return, Ive heard from others great things about this place but have yet to experience it.

Ordered a mac n cheese and chips.I received half of what I ordered.I got bread instead which is whatever honestly,though I was really looking forward to the chips.I went to grab my meal and got a hand covered in sauce because there was just sauce left all over the lid. Thank god that the staff was so nice and their food so good because if this was any other restraunt, I wouldve not come back for a long time,waiting until the staff became better trained or replaced with ones that were more attentive to the actual order.Still love the food and kind service though.

I have really enjoyed eating their since they opened the Silverdale store, but I felt compelled to write this review as the quality has dropped a lot in the last couple of months. One of the things that distinguished Silverdale from other near by Paneras (like Gig Harbor) was the quality of the baking and general freshness of entrees. Now, the bagels are all wrong, the breads and pastries seem off and in the last 3 instances of buying a salad, way too much wilted and old lettuce. Not sure what changed, but whatever it was, it needs to change back.

The service sucks compare to other Paneras the staff are kids mostly males that are not helpful and give bad service. Seems like they have an attitude. They do not ask if you need anything when they bring the food and never bring butter for the bread or even ask. At other Panerai they ask if you need anything and sometimes take your plates. Never seen that here. Unfortunately the only one in town.

Summer corn chowder & chili line SW salad....very nice combo. Chowder a bit thick but they complement each other well without too much (spicy) heat. I got dressing on the side as the salad doesnt need much more, IMO. If no chicken is in the salad, its nice vegetarian meal. Quinoa a nice touch. Wish it had more avacadoes. Will get again as long as its still on the menu.

The service was very poor. We asked for a heated cinnamon roll and they said there was a microwave. We had to ask twice for butter and the go back for silverware and they only gave us a knife. I asked for a soufflé and she said to look in the case it was what they had. No more breakfasts at panera.

I have kind of rediscovered Paneras, especially when I am traveling. As others have said, the people are friendly and helpful, and the menu, though kind of small, has enough variety to meet most peoples needs. The ingredients seem fresh and nutritious. The apple crunch muffins are a big favorite!

Went in to place an order to go, got home to Port Orchard to find the wrong sandwich. Its too far to conveniently go back so I called. She took my number, but nobody ever called. Im supposed to get a voucher for another sandwich, but Im not confident thatll actually happen. Very disappointing.

Got a to-go Mac and cheese and it was super fast! Right as I got there it was ready, only sad thing was that the bread bowl wasnt warmed up. Ill always come back, but I wish they would have it warm or at least the Mac & cheese inside the bowl.

I dont find the staff to be very friendly at times. I will get some employees who are there to work and then there are some who are there just to be there. Not always a friendly smile and try to speak to fast to you to get rid of you.....

I love this place! Such good food, healthy fast food. Ive had a few problems with mistaken orders and such but nothing that cant be fixed with service and a smile. The attitudes of the employees are always cheerful and upbeat.
