Never going back! I was looking forward to my hair appointment for over a month. When it finally came I was so excited; I was ready for a change! Having just graduated from college the day before, I was ready to update my look to enter the "real world" and not look so much like a college student. I told my stylist that I didnt have anything specific in mind, just something classy and professional. She said shed cut some inches off and go from there. An hour later, after listening to her talk on and on and on and on about her life and her problems, she turned my chair around so I couldnt see the mirror and dried my hair under that big spaceship helmet thing (while she cleaned up the store to leave after my haircut was finished). What a shock when she turned me around and I saw my EXACT same previous haircut, only three inches shorter!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!! And by this point, she had finished cleaning up and was kind of rushing me out the door so I couldnt say that I didnt like it. NOT WORTH THE $50 I SPENT! If I wanted to get the exact same haircut I would have gone to Supercuts and gotten it done for half the price and wouldnt have had to listen to her tell a complete stranger (aka me) all about her life problems! I almost want to ask for my money back since Im going to be going to another hair stylist next week to get an actual hair cut! Im just disappointed that I put my trust in someone who calls themselves an artist and she didnt create anything; she replicated what was already there.

Kady was awesome! I had a great rainy Monday afternoon with her getting my hair done again for the first time in almost 2 years. She was able to take my blah, faded boxed strawberry to multiple shades of fire red and ruby goodness, plus she sliced some beautiful layers and bounce back into the lifeless mom-do that I had going on. She was super friendly and we chatted about anything and everything during my time there-it was much appreciated. It may very well have been my discussion of preordering the 311 CD that earned me the blonde streak in the front, and EVERYONE has commented on that! Im pretty willing to do anything to my hair (within my tame Midwestern standards ;) ) but having natural curls Im also very paranoid to let anyone touch my head. She was able to recreate some confidence for me, and I do believe I have rediscovered some sass! I will certainly be uploading some photos, but Im waiting for a sunny day to show off this masterpiece! Thank you Kady!

I have been thoroughly satisfied with all my haircuts at Ginger Salon. In fact, they get better each time! My last haircut was Friday, February 5th at the Irvington location with Marci Castillo. Let me say she is absolutely amazing. She helped bring out the natural features Ive been looking for in my hair. Every time I learn something new about my hair and how to care for it better. These ladies are truly amazing and give you 100% attention and make your experience the best possible. Thank you Ginger Salon!

I had Emily as my hair dresser and she was absolutely GLORIOUS!! LOVE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT FOR HOW I FEEL ABOUT MY HAIR RIGHT NOW. Emily was so easy to talk to, made me feel super comfortable and had some excellent stories to tell. I get my hair done basically once a year and so I usually have a hard time explaining what I want and most hair dressers end up butchering it. This is the first time in a long time I feel 0 regret about getting my hair cut. Highly highly highly recommend.

My blonde highlights were supposed to be golden and they came out so icy they were blue. The stylist never fit me in for an appointment to repair the mistake, and she charged me for a full weave without discussing a partial (which I always get) with me. I felt cheated out of my money, and paid more than I ever do for the work I have done. She also over booked and was doing three cuts and dyes at the same time. I will never go back to this salon again.

Deanna is AWESOME! I have been going to her for over two years. She was great on my first visit when I asked her to take my long hair and give me a cute, short cut. I actually had strangers stop me on the street to compliment it- not normal for me. She figured out how to deal with my unruly hair, which no one can do. I recommend Deanna if youre looking for someone who can make your hair look good.

I saw Stina today and wasnt too sure where I wanted to go with my hair. I gave her a few ideas, let her have creative license, and the result was amazing! I LOVE my hair and the color and style is exactly what I wanted but coudldnt put into words to ask for. The salon itself is pretty darn cute with a very relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely be going back!

I have been seeing the same stylist for over 8 years. She moved so the hunt was on for a new stylist. Stephanie cut my hair yesterday and it is AMAZING. Love isnt strong enough for how I feel about my hair. I am a narcasistic boob, because I cannot stop looking at my hair in the mirror. I am super excited and happy to find my new stylist.

I LOVE that Ginger carries sidlab products! Ive yet to find another product line that works as well on my thick hair.
